A wonderful, wonderful fishing lodge dedicated to the quicksilver bonefish of the marls, built and run by Peter Mantle, and a reincarnation in spirit and attitude of the original Delphi Lodge in Connemara. Great food, great craic, great fishing, great laziness if desired, and an immediate longing to return the instant the red door closes behind you.

My wife and I visited for dinner. Our only regret is we were not staying longer. Max and the staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The lodge itself is only a few years old but it looks as if it were built in the 1800s and recently updated. Time seemed to go slower, in a good way, as we stood on... More

We found the prior reviews spot on when we recently visited Delphi. For those of us who travel as couples this lodge is unusual in that it delivers what many lodges promise but don't deliver: a complete package of gourmet food, good fishing and interesting guests in an elegant lodge overlooking the Atlantic for only a small number of guests... If you are a fisherperson or just someone in need of some pampering this is the spot for you! The host, Peter Mantle and his manager, Max, are superlative at their craft. They sport 1/2 dozen top class fishing guides for bonefishing, permit and occasional tarpon and when the fishing day is complete, the food parade begins. Cocktails, and dinner... More

Loved every minute of my stay at the Delphi Club. Though I was warned it was unseasonably cool, I was able to walk into the see from a deserted beach just in cifront of the lodge, swim in the infinity pool and relax on the balcony looking at the ocean. Peter and Jane Mantle are the perfect hosts and with... More

Can't say enough about the accomodations, food, and staff at the Delphi Club. We had a wonderful week's vacation. The club is primarily aimed at bone fisherman, but it overlooks a lovely beach perfect for enjoying the water, taking a walk , or sitting and enjoying the sun. There is also a beautiful pool. The manager can connect you with... More

This place is simply paradise. The manager, Max is such a great guy. Always smiling and always very helpful. Went fly fishing for the very first time with Ishy and I did pretty well, surprised myself. The Delphi club itself is very relaxing. You're just a hop and skip away from the beach and there's also a pool. The in-house... More

Small luxury hotel in wilderness location, overlooking beautiful, deserted sandy beach. Popular with bonefishers, birders and those in search of a really nice tropical hideaway. International clientele, with many Europeans. Noted for its great food, excellent wine cellar, very good library and charming house party atmosphere. Beautiful gardens, stunning azure bay, almost no other building for miles. Wi-fi, kayaks, nature trips, scuba, snorkeling, island-hopping tours all available.
