I've stayed twice at Mille-et-une-Feuilles, which was sort of halfway between Ypres (Belgium) and Aveyron (France). The hotel is just outside the (small) city centre, not far from the Autoroute. It's theme is French literature; I had the (smaller and cheaper) Jules Vernes room, and later (for 5 euros more) the more spacious Molière room.

I and my mate stayed in this hotel from the Monday 19th to Friday 24th of June it was very clean and quiet comfortable, the decoration was very quirky, our room was number 2 (Jean de la Fountains) situated on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The room was looking out the main street. With the window closed you still...

The hotel is a little difficult to find. As they say themselves "To have no problem finding us, if you are driven by GPS, you must specify “avenue de la gare” (without number) as the destination, because the mapping GPS has not listed the part of avenue Gambetta in wich we are. We located between the station and the post...

We stopped here on the way back to Calais from Meze in Languedoc. We really just put a pin in a map and were glad we did. The hotel is small and very private, with it's front room converted to a small restaurant serving good food - a little too haute-cuisine for our two young children, but they enjoyed it...

Quirky hotel with all the rooms named after French authors Proprietor friendly and helpful We ate at the hotel and found the waitress a little unfriendly and surly to start with ( may have been because she was pregnant ) She mellowed at the end of the meal The food was nicely presented and very tasty We had a good...

First and foremost, I stayed at this hotel in July 2012. Unfortunately, TripAdvisor doesnt allow that option under the 'month visited' drop down box and admittedly I have taken a while to register with TripAdvisor. The hotel is situated in a quaint beautiful village and its decoration is well in keeping with the general theme of this village. The rooms...

Mille et une feuilles is a little restaurant attached to the hotel. We dined there on a Thursday evening in September. There is a terrace at the front of the restaurant which is nice. The service was quick and professional. We ate the mussels in pasta and it was really very good. The dessert with supplement was worth it, a...

Stayed over night in November. A cheerful welcome on arrival and the friendliness continued during our stay. very much the family feel to it.Stayed in room 1 which was not large but adequate, excellent decoration and spotlessly clean. The dinner was superb. Very original and talented cooking. The breakfast was simple but adequate. The stay cost Euro 151 for the...

We stopped at Charité-sur-Loire on the way from Cluny to Auxerre, taking the chance to visit its famous Abbey (listed in the UNESCO World Heritage); the Mille et Une Feuilles has revealed itself perfect for said stop. It’s a small hotel, located at the north of the City historical centre; several parking places are available free-of-charge just in front of...

Very good hotel for an overnight stop on your journey. Don't bother with the restaurant, very disappointing. Don't know why reviews need to be a minimum of two hundred characters as I have said all I wanted to say.
