Bavarian Forest Holidays was not what we expected. It was much MORE. We were not expecting the pick up from the train station, or that the apartment was really nice, fresh and spacious (we had a 4 yr old!), nor did my son expect his new bedtime buddy Malcolm (he's still sleeping with him!). Unfortunately we missed the NYE celebrations...

We travelled with our 8-month daughter and knew little of Bavaria - it blew us away. You could not wish for a warmer welcome than from Martin and the team who went the extra mile to ensure we were accommodated. Beautiful apartments overlooking the forested hills, freshly baked bread and stunning hikes straight from the front door. Wbat's more, Bayerisch...

It is said that there is no place like home. After having visited the Bavarian Forest Holiday complex at Bayerisch Eisenstein for the second time in a number of years I must say that there are indeed places where one can really say "This place is like home". The Bavarian Forest Holiday complex is such a place. The moment you...

Bavarian Forest Holidays exceeded our expectations! The apartment we stayed in was very clean and had everything we needed and more! Martin was on hand to give us advice about places to eat and visit, and even invited us to a Schnapps Tasting Evening! Clean towels, bedding, swimming towels etc, were so handy as this meant we did no have...

We stayed in Forsthaus for a long weekend with family. Apartment had everything we could have thought we needed. Really enjoyed the balcony overlooking at the Arber. Very clean, comfortable beds, and a charming town. We did the walk to the beer garden and took a quick trip on the bikes over the border into the Czech Republic to go...

We have stayed with Bavarian Forest Holidays in Bayerisch Eisenstein twice now and hope to stay there again. The properties are comfortable, spacious and well-furnished. Breakfast is provided for your first morning. A range of sporting equipment is available to borrow and although we haven't borrowed any of it we have made good use of the children and baby equipment...

Our son and daughter in law booked this for a family holiday in Bavaria. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The apartment was spacious, clean, light and airy. There where six adults and a baby on our holiday. Everything essential was provided for the baby, which made travelling to our destination much easier. The view of the mountain was lovely...

Clean, tidy but not remarkable. Could do with a little updating. Not bad for the price but not in centre of town or too close to the railway station. Would be best to have a car to do a bit of exploring as the town is very isolated. Nice town if you really want to get away from it all....

Germany is like a second homeland "Heimat" for us since we've explored every nook and cranny of it. We found it to be quite a dichotomy and having many contrasts. The simple natural beauty of the south in Bavaria and its Blackforest cuku clocks to its high end autos made in Munchen. The quiet and hushed alpine gem of Garmish...

We stayed for 10 days in this home from home. Quite village location on the doorstep of Czech Republic. Ideal for visiting Prague , Munich and we even managed an overnight stay in Saltzberg. The local Mountain is ideal for skiing during the season. Our appartment was very well equipped and included a games room for the children. The house keeper...
