Having visited The Beachcomber fourteen times previously, and already being aware of any short-comings and also that renovations were in progress, we knew our stay was never going to be any less enjoyable than before. Our stay covered 24 nights. Although inconvenienced for a time by noise from the restaurant work in progress and from nearby hotels, once completed this was negated...

Wanted desperately to return to this hotel as we had not been since our honeymoon but unfortunately it was full. Just wanted to drop a quick line to rate that its location is fabulous and central. The staff are amazing and really helpful. The beach bungalow rooms are really special and I would recommend them. The hotel is small, cozy...

Stayed here with my 4 year old daughter for 12 nights. I was not sure of what to expect after some of the reviews but was definately pleasantly surprised. Booked a superior room which was slightly more expensive but could not have been happier. Room on 3rd floor, newly renovated, clean and everything worked. Would have liked a hook for...

Cheap and cheerful, very clean, quiet, but no too far from bars and restaurants. Good beach access, bar and seating area could do with updating, food good, breakfast average, lick of paint would not go amiss. No evening / night service for bar or food. Would definitely use again!

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to! We arrived by taxi and the bell boy was very quick to take our bags the few metres to reception for us. From there everything went downhill fast! After filling in forms at reception with no welcome drink, the same girl on reception took my bag and started walking off…...

First I must say that the staff at Beachcomber are all very friendly. The hotel itself is very old. The wood floors are badly scratched, peeling and worn. The furniture is the same. The TV didn't work well and it is the old tube-style. The Internet did not work at first, but once fixed was a good connection. Breakfast was...

I booked into the Beachcomber on Nov. 21st for three nights but was so pleased with the hotel that I stayed for eleven nights. And another friend took a beachside bungalow for the same period. The rooms have been recently upgraded - very large, clean, balconies. good A/C, good clean bathrooms. No fault. Excellent staff. Very helpful who all spoke...
