The Amari is well located in the heart of Chenwang Beach and close to everything. The rooms are excellent and well maintained, the staff are helpful and friendly. The pool was beautiful. It was a great place to relax.
Solo female traveler, I returned here 3 times in one year. The rooms at the back (not beach side) are lovely, spacious and clean. There is a pool there too. But the front (beach side) this is where this hotel excels. They have super comfy sofas right over looking the beach, lovely pool area there too. It gets the sun all day and you can pop up an umbrella for shade. It is not a great part of Chaweng Beach for swimming, but it is possible. Beware that the hotel next door can host seasonal events and the noise from that is awful - so just ask when booking. Excellent service and breakfast. Nice dinners too. This is the classy part of Chaweng!! Excellent happy hour in this hotel and in Sala right next door on the beach. In all, highly recommend it for families to solo travelers. My favorite room was upgrading to pool side suite and waking up to the stunning beach views.…
Good location close to Central Festival Samui, great swimming pool with ocean view, nice and clean room with comfy bed and pillows, service-minded staff and brilliant breakfast buffet with lots of options!
It was 3 day family Vacation. Overall experience was nice and comfortable.. Nice and good spread for breakfast. We Really enjoyed. Very close to buzzing street and part of hotel is on beach side and other part is across the road from where beach is not visible, but tvey have carts running to and fro to both sides , to pick and drop .
Excellent stay at Amari Hotel, enjoyed variety of breakfast buffet and Prego restaurant. Very nice pool area seaside and landside and a nice beach which is goid for walking. In addition good service in the hotel
Very close to Samui airport. Love the pizzas at Prego Italian restaurant, and desserts at Amaya Cafe. Large room space and clean. Good night sleep. The place is good for family holidays. Definitely come back next time.
Wonderful hotel on the Chaweng beach. Everything was amazing, clean and so friendly staff. Special dédicace to We, he was so nice and helpfull. Very nice moment in this hotel and will recommend you to my friends. Near everything and very good location on this quiet beach. Thank’s a lot. Philippe
Beautiful facilities, very well maintained hotel. Staff are excellent and the location is spot on. Myself and my boyfriend stayed for 10nights incl breakfast beds are super comfortable and BIG, rooms were cleaned daily and spotless. and next wanted for anything. 2 beautiful pools. We used the small gym twice and it was very adequate for our needs. We ordered from Prego and food was fast, hot and excellent.
Wonderfully friendly staff, excellent facilities and beautiful pool. Exceptional breakfast. The staff were all so friendly and Wee, the guest relations manager, was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. The staff seem genuinely happy and it was a pleasure to stay at Amari once again. The only downside is the beach in front of the resort in low tide is not the best for swimming but one can walk a little down the beach to the right for better swimming.
We've been coming to the Amari on Chaweng beach since 2009, and this is at least our 10th visit ...... the service is excellent, the food and service in the hotel is outstanding, and the rooms and facilities are extremely good. We stayed in an upstairs deluxe pool view room, which is across the road from the beach. The rooms was spacious and well equipped, with a lovely bathroom, a high arched wooden ceiling, and a balcony overlooking the small hotel pool. Air conditioning is cold, and there is also a ceiling fan for cooler days. Maid service is impeccable. The breakfast buffet is incredible - Thai food (including breakfast noodles cooked to order), Chinese Congee with all the trimmings, DimSum, Indian breakfasts, omelettes cooked to order, baked beans and bacon, unbelievable fresh pastries and breads fresh fruits, salads, cold meats, smoothies ......... We normally have breakfast early, and then go for a 5+ mile walk on the beach, which is clean and safe. The hotel has two pools, and sunbeds and umbrellas at the pools and on the beach ..... well kept, and a good supply of towels. The main pool is beachside, and has a large paddling pool adjacent to the main pool. When there are a lot of guests (and children) this pool can be quite noisy. The smaller pool near our room is generally much quieter. There is a table tennis table, and also a pool table near the large pool. Lunch is usually at the pool bar, where there is a great selection of both Thai foods (the papaya salad is especially good) and also international dishes (try the salad NIcoise), cocktails, and draught Singha beer. There is a happy hour, with a good range of cocktails, wines, beers, and prosecco included. In the current post-Covid era, the bar is offering buy one, get one free on most drinks ............ There are many outstanding restaurants close to the hotel, both on the main street and on the beach - see my other posts for restaurant reviews close to the hotel. The service is unbelievably friendly and professional. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and beach bar are efficient, professional, and fun .... many thanks to our maid May, Liew at the front desk, and Rak, May, Neong, Jimmy, Khmaomaw, Boom, Pae, Night and Takky at the restaurant and bar , and all the others who made this another memorable stay! The management team under GM Ruud are highly visible, friendly, and involved ... our thanks to Wee and Preecha ....…
