Charming hotel ideally located opposite the access gate to the medieval city. The welcome is charming and efficient. We were able to benefit from a free parking space right in front of the entrance.
The establishment has been renovated with great taste, combining modern comfort and preserved character. Every piece of furniture and object has been well chosen.
The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower.
The breakfast room is like the rest, charming and the buffet was very diverse and plentiful.
Perhaps some scrambled eggs were missing to be completely

Our fourth visit to this charming hotel in an equally charming town in the middle of Burgundy. The hotel has everything that we want and need and everyone involved is so kind and helpful. We would never imagine staying anywhere else when in Burgundy.

The hotel is in a great location. We used it as a base to travel to multiple locations in Burgundy. It is right in the heart of Semur. The decor was well done. It made you feel like you were staying in a guest room of a home. Very clean and a helpful staff.

We loved this hotel but have a few caveats: wifi didn’t work at all in the room, cable tv didn’t work either, and we had to pay in cash when we left because credit card machine was broken. But parking was right at the door and free, rooms and bathroom so comfy, right at the medieval gates to this wonderful town. Breakfast was that good: too much self-serve such as squeeze own orange juice and boil own egg. But we rated this hotel very high because overall our stay was wonderful!

Here we are again .... for the ? (8th or 9th) time and it continues to be the perfect place, either for a stopover or an extended stay. Accommodation remains superb and the breakfast is one of the best we've experienced in all of France.
The steady improvements that are being made under Axel's directorship are having a very positive bearing on the quality of the hotel. Staying at this hotel will always be on our list when travelling to, or through, Burgundy.

This accommodation was ideal for visiting the historic center of Semur-en-Auxois. In addition to its perfect location, this hotel provided us with a pleasant and very quiet room, very clean and perfectly equipped, to which was added a friendly, attentive and efficient welcome. Nothing to complain about for this address to which we will happily return.

Very warm welcome in this hotel located in the heart of the city (with the resulting disadvantages: noisy traffic especially due to the - poorly - paved road, but the room was at the back, overlooking a closed courtyard)

Amazing hotel, really cosy, and perfect location in this wonderful middle age city.
Our room had so much space, with modern and old mixed design. Heard the owner say there’s a Spa in creation process.
