Good Hotel, with (free) parking space available, close to town center, but in a side street (quiet place). Very clean and excellent service, thanks to the kind, smart (and proactive) owner. Reccomended.

We stayed here for one night on our way up the east coast. The room was by far the cheapest during our stay on Corsica. Although the room was adequate for our needs we don't feel we would have wanted to stay here for longer as it was a little soulless. Having toured around the island we found there are far more charming places to stay. We found a few places to eat on the main road around the corner but the food was not the best. When we arrived back at the hotel at around 9pm all the lights were out and there wasn't a soul to be seen. The beach is about five minutes drive away, but again not a patch on some of the other beaches we saw around Corsica. It wouldn't be our choice for a week's holiday, but for a short overnight stay you'll be stretched to find a better price.

This hotel is located off the main street a bit; was very quiet overnight. Nice, friendly welcome. Room 2, up one flight of stairs. Very clean, decent size, nice bathroom. Comfortable bed and linens. Faces the back of the building into a sort of messy residential area. There is also a small bar and a wood fire pizza oven - the pizza was good (8.5E for one pizza that fed 2 of us). Hot water took a long time to come so have to run sooo much water before you can take your shower - hate that. Free wifi works well in room. Free unsecured car park in front of motel. 7E pp breakfast - coffee, juice, croissant, bread, jam, honey, butter. No offer for coffee refill. Served in a small room off the bar wiith just ok atmosphere. Credit cards accepted. Pretty good value for 52E for a double room. Breakfast at 7E pp is too much.

I had this in my list from places found easily using Google Maps/Street View (hadn't discovered TripAdvisor!). It didn't let us down. We arrived on a Sunday in April at about 3pm and found a 'back soon' sign. However, after a bit of talking and walking around we stirred somebody :-). She was very polite and lead us to the nearest room possible. The parking was good, we dropped in our stuff and went for a walk around town. We found good wine and fresh bread (yes, at 4pm on Sunday). The PDJ was very good. It seemed like this was a gathering place for island 'white van' drivers and also local workers dropping in for cafe au lait. The only couple of 'downers' - our north facing double-glazed window (when opened) let in the sound of an awful set of barking dogs, not close, but loud enough to be annoying. Secondly, the timer on the 'body movement' light detector was VERY short - we had to take our stuff upstairs (remember - to the very FIRST room) by carrying our LED torches at ALL times (or risk tripping up in the dark). Later in our trip we were asked by somebody where we had been, they classed this as being out of date and 'drab'. I wouldn't say that. It was quite respectable and would recommend it.

This is a small hotel / B&B on the east coast of Corsica. When we arrived at 3PM, there was a hand-written sign saying "back at 5PM" so that tells you it is a family-run / informal kind of place. When we did get a room it was nice, with A/C. The beach with a nice restaurant is only a mile or so down the road. The breakfast was pretty basic. It is fine for a night or maybe two but not as a base for a vacation. That said, we did not see too many other places on the island that were really top-quality anyway.
