We checked into this hotel in what was a very snoozy beautiful little town. The hotel room was spotlessly clean with excellent shower and bathroom facilities. Beds were comfortable with extra blankets or air con if needed. There was also a fridge in the room and a hairdryer. We had a balcony with a sea view and balcony furniture for...

We have been going to this hotel for the past 6 years and we know exactly what we are going to get..no surprise. Rooms are a decent size, food is excellent and the staff (except one or two) are excellent and friendly.

Spent 17 nights in July in this great family-run hotel. Stayed in the annex in a big modern room, with AC, TV, fridge, balcony, small dining table, sofa: e.g. a suite! For a start: hotel is very clean. Food is very good. Portopalo is a great place to have summer holidays. But what makes this place better than a 7...

Owners are a lovely couple. Spoke little English but we spoke through smiles and with our hands. Get the balcony if you can. Dinner was wonderful and staff which were not sure if family but also wonderful. Order any fish and the blank ink pasta. Had great experience.

We just spend a week in this hotel. Instead of saying what I liked and what I disliked I just make a list of what is OK and what is not OK: Restaurant: very good traditional dishes and very discreet waiter (MARCELLO is always there, but is not intrusive at all). BAR: the lady who's there in the morning to...

We (Alessandro & Asa, Johan, Filip & Lukas) are a family with three sons (20, 18, 18) living in Gothenburg, Sweden. We have chosen to stay at "Hotel Jonic" because it looks so nice in the photos posted on the web and because it has excellent comments in Tripadvisor. Now we have been there, and we must say that our...

Good hotel overlooking the sea (the room upstairs on the corner is recommended!) and very friendly, nice and helpful owners. Very clean room, nice and quiet. The sun wakes you up and the first thing you see is the sea as you rise up from your bed. We went there at the end of the season so the restaurant was...

place is clean, peaceful and near to the sea. Was woken by the exotic sounds of birds. Dora knows how to treat a fish and so we ate happily at her restaurant. Her character shines through and we soon got talking to other guests in the happy atmosphere that night. Nice hotel in A special place

Nice! My italian friend brought us to that hotel because we were visiting La Sicilia in car. It was clean and the view on the see was amazing. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice and friendly. We could have stayed for weeks! It was quiet and the bathroom was clean and fully equipped.
