This was a nice place. Very clean and comfortable for student/group travel. Nice setting and comfortable place. Food was good and service was fine. Grounds are lovely with space to enjoy. A good spot to enjoy nature.

I have stayed at Casa Tranquilla twice now. Both times have been a great experience. The staff is very helpful and there to serve. It's not a luxurious hotel by any means, but it is great for peaceful and relaxing fun. The food is good.

Casa Tranquila is great. Peaceful, relaxing and the food is great. Good pool, basketball court and plenty grounds. Great staff. Great for couples, families and groups. You are not fat from Salto Jimenoa which is a fabulous nature hike and river bathe.

I there is a sweet spot for your stay on Jarabacoa, Casa Tranquila is your spot. Especially of your a small or medium size group. The grounds are plenty large enough and the location is peaceful. This is not a 5 Star hotel so expect "Rustic". It's clean and the owners are wonderful. You will not be disappointed.
