My stay at this hostel was superb. The owners and the staff are really nice and helpful. They gave me assistance whenever i needed it! Everything was clean and organized during my stay, mostly thanks to the maids in the hostel! The location is very good and the view is amazing. All in all, i would recommend this hostel to... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Jarabacoa Mountain Hostel and enjoyed every minute of my stay. From the moment you walk in, it is obvious that Molly and Rodolfo have put a great deal of thought into the hostel details and the comfort of their guests. This is definitely high value for your money.

This place is magnificent. Fhe people working there are very friendly, and the place is extremely clean and nice. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel! Many options to choose from for rooms, and there was even a firebrick pizza oven! Convenient location that puts you away from all noise. Wifi everywhere, and some rooms had Netflix... More

Jarabacao Mountain Hostel is unbelievably modern, with every luxury you could wish for (large beds, spacious living areas, super fast wifi--even when all 25 of us were on it, and amazing outdoor living.) Not to mention, very accommodating staff. If you decide to leave the hostel (which is harder than you think due to the homey-feel) the staff will go... More

A great place to use as a base for your Dominical Republic adventures. Not far from Parasailing, white water rafting, horse riding and lots of other great stuff. Really nice large kitchen with plenty of everything you need to prepare your own meals. But, also not too far from fine restaurants. You can't beat the price so give it a... More

One of the most modern and beautiful hostels I've seen even by traveling almost 30 countries around the globe. Really new, nice architecture, a little outside the center so you might need a taxi/moto at least for the first arrival. The single/couple rooms are large with nice comfortable beds (and about like a thousand pillows). The fan was a little... More

This was our last stop in the Dominican Republic, so we decided to spend a little more money to get a nicer room. As it was quiet, we got upgraded, just out of kindness. Our room was great: plenty of hot water, a nice bath, spa bathsalts and bubbles, soaps, a very clean room, good bed and best of all:... More

I'm a biologist who works throughout the country, and thus stays at a lot of hotels. These vary tremendously in both quality and price. What's remarkable is that during my last 2-month field season, JMH was both the nicest/most comfortable place our team stayed, and also the least expensive. The facilities are modern and high quality, and the staff is... More
