We stayed during high season and could not get into the much ballyhooed rooms with balconies and sea-views - I defer to other reviewers on those rooms - but rather, we were in the back, closer to the street, without much sunlight or breeze in the room. Our room was HOT. So, in addition to the ceiling fans, they provided...

Really visited in 2008 and wish I could go back again. Great brick oven pizza and the owners were very nice! A fantastic location perfect for relaxation by the beach in a quaint beach . I highly recommend if you are looking to experience Oaxaca beaches . This place will not disappoint you.

We have been to this La Playa about 8 times in the last 20 years and it's STILL favorite beach almost anywhere ! Cervezas and very fresh shrimp are abundant ! Great walking , relaxing and swimming for everybody. Surf's up enough to bodysurf, surfingand just easy swimming in various parts. La Termita was just the best in our stays...

I stayed here with my young son and was made to feel so welcome and relaxed I just wished we could have stayed longer. Isabela and her family are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast is amazing and the coffee excellent. Beachfront location, beautiful big rooms and a wood fired pizza oven too. You really couldn't...

We arrived thinking we would just have pizza which was delicious but instead we were too tired and realistically didn't want to go back to mazunte where we rented a beautiful house but full of animals and mosquitos... So we rented a room for a great price and it was great! Super clean and beautiful bathroom, several fans in the...

We stayed five nights at La Termita. It was very rainy the first few days of our trip but the setting was so beautiful that we didn't mind. Our room was rustic yet comfortable and very romantic. The restaurant is great. Its a fun place to have a few drinks at night. The owners were very accommodating and friendly and...

I stayed at La Termita once for several days and have eaten there on both of my visits to San Augustinillo. The attached restaurant is also terrific - the pizza is wood-fired and comes with a variety of topping options and the have a nice Mexican style breakfast menu. The rooms are clean, elegant, and spacious. The bathroom was large,...

We stayed (2 couples) at La Termita last January 2013 (just now getting around to writing a few reviews from that trip) for a couple nights before flying home from Huatulco. It was a very pleasant stay. We'd eaten at their restaurant several times before on previous trips to the area, but this was the first time staying there. Nice...

beautiful, refreshing, reviving- my new favorite spot in the world. I wish this place was more of a secret so I wouldn't have to share it. best idea if you're hungry is to walk down the beach and ask a family to cook what they have freshly caught.
