One of only 2 out of the 8 hotels we stayed in to be given 5 stars. Having read some of the previous poor reviews we decided to upgrade to a suite. We could not have been happier with the room, great air conditioning, comfortable bed, great shower, good wifi and for us still excellent value on a full board...

Only stayed here for one night but loved it. Hotel is lovely, staff attentive and good choice in the restaurant. Rooms have high ceilings, balcony and have a lodge-like feel. A couple of mi s drive to the elephant sanctuary, where you can watch the babies being fed and a base for the Jeep Safari trips which were the highlight...

We felt our room and bathroom (a superior deluxe, apparently) left quite a lot to be desired. It was very dark, relatively small and shabby in places. We had been told the hotel was relatively mediocre by our tour operator, so this was not unexpected. However, we were greeted with a bed decorated to celebrate our silver wedding and my...

This seems to be a pretty big hotel, accommodating larger groups. Large rooms with nice bathroom. The food, buffet style, was very good with a lo of choices. Some dishes were prepared on site. However, due to the amount of people, there was a lot of queuing to do to get some food. The restaurant was very large, but also...

Ideal location for visiting the Uda Walawe National Park. Reception staff were excellent giving a warm welcome and good information. We very much appreciated the upgrade to the very spacious and quiet Grand Suite and the cake that was presented to us after dinner to help celebrate our anniversary. Thank you very much. The hotels has an attractive design but...

We found this hotel to be wonderful. Location is perfect for a safari in the National Park. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite on arrival and the room was beautifully decorated with all the necessary facilities. Wonderful pool and staff. Wish we could have stayed longer. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

After reading the reviews for this hotel, we were not expecting too much. The entrance is not at all attractive and the hotel lobby and reception is quite dark. However, we were checked very quickly and upgraded to a suite, much to our surprise. The accommodation was very good and the toiletries provided were most acceptable. The staff are excellent. Very...

i stayed here for a night. at first glance the hotel feels different and then you walk in to witness how different it is with respect to the area. rooms are large and comfortable. views are nice. the only positively negative area is that it has many ponds and green spaces that attracts insects and mosquitoes but none the less...
