Over the last few years we have stayed here twice and we shall be visiting again in the future. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The chateau has been very well renovated with a sensible strategy of going for a modern touch, thereby avoiding the pitfalls of a "period" approach. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the...

Chateau de Salettes has good intentions. They have tried to marry a stunning Medieval fortified building with modern decor and have missed the mark in the process. The furniture looks like it is from Ikea, the bathroom fittings are plastic and the overall care of their clientele is far below a hotel of this standard. But they do try and...

Our stay in Chateau de Salettes was very fine. We stay in a room 'Grand Comfort' and everything was so good, better than we could expect. A nice and clean room overlooking the valley with lots of vineyards. In the evening, in the 1 Michelinstar restaurant, we could choose between three different menu's, each of them full of taste according...

I have rarely been more won over by a hotel than this - our Grand Comfort Room was stylish, minimalist and spacious with a wonderful view - we simply could not ask more for more . Just wish we could take the room home! Not to everyones taste maybe but it fitted ours And as for the food - it...

The nearby towns of Albi and Gaillac with their extensive heritage and culture to offer the tourist. Magnificent hilltop villages such as Cordes sur Ciel are only a fifteen minute drive away. This is a lovely welcoming family run hotel set amongst vineyards just outside Gallic. The restaurant was wonderful and the staff went out of their way to help when we arrived a bit too late to book a table at the restaurant they found an excellent one for us and booked it...Lovely pool..I would say the biggest plus was all...

We spend 4 days in July 2013 in this marvellous location. Fantastic renovated chateau, very quiet with splendid view on the surrouding vineyards ! Really unique. Large room on the ground level with direct access to the marvellous garden from which we had an amazing view over the valley and the swimming pool . Rooms with surprising modern style (will...

The reviews of this hotel and restaurant seem to be mixed but we found this place fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful without being patronising, as we sometimes find in Chateau type places in France. Our room had an amazing view out over the valley. The food is amazing. Each dish on the Toulouse Lautrec menu is a taste...

A modern renovation of a large simple building provides the rooms here. They are very simply in a modern style, not everyone's taste but we liked them. The beds were large and comfortable and we had no complaint about the bathrooms. Dinner was very good but the ambience was somewhat soulless as is the case for the hotel in general....

Old chateau in French countryside about an hour from Toulouse. Unsympathetically modernised. Rooms extremely basic and layout not the best - you had to go through a meeting room to get to mine. If you like rural France then it's probably your cup of tea, if you don't then you'll hate it. Food was French over-elaboration at its worst. Don't...
