Selected as a quality Chateau to relax before a long drive over the Alps into Italy, we arrived at 6.30pm on a Wednesday to find the driveway to Reception blocked by bollards. No other cars in sight but they did advertise Valet Parking so maybe someone will come to take the luggage and park the car. Waited but on one...

Wonderful place for a stop en route across the Alps. Great food, great service, great building, great location. All the produce is local. Room was a little basis but this was more than made up for by the warm reception and great service,

This is quite an exceptional place but not the average luxury mainstream chateau in France.. The location, setting and grounds are extremely beautiful. Sunset is breathtaking and grounds are large so it is extremely quiet. It is however, a very small chateau, just 8 rooms so you should not expect the services of a large luxury hotel. The rooms are...

Trip Advisor reviews helped us decide a last-minute booking here to avoid the Parisian heat wave. It was an inspired choice! 30 minutes drive from Chambery TGV station, easily accessible by autoroute but totally peaceful in a small village surrounded by fruit orchards in the foothills of the Bauges. The chateau is small - eight very well decorated rooms on...

We had a wonderful stay 2 days. The Chateau is full a "charm" it has beautiful surroundings, very kind personel, great homemade food and charming rooms. A place where you can fill both as royalty, but also at home. A wonderful place for tranqulity and happiness.

We spent one night there, at the beginning of june 2011. the surrounding area is simply amazing, green fields, small country cottages sorrounded by the alps... the caste is like a fairy tale one, the kind you've always imagined when listening to a fairy tale, exactly. it has a beautiful park with a swimming pool and the receptionist is extremely...

On a six-week holiday in Europe, we were looking for a special place in the French countryside to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary: classy, romantic, with the personal touch – somewhere that we would always remember as special, but without pretence. We were on a budget! For us, Château de la Tour du Puits was the absolute perfect choice. We...

We spent three days at the Chateau. It's a beautiful spot: fantastic grounds and wonderful rooms. The food was delicious and the chef prepared a special dinner for us that was equal to a great restaurant. It's a renovated Chateau with all the amenities you would want. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. There a pool and spa and...

Of all the places we stayed during our 6 weeks in Europe. this place was by far our favorite. The Chateau nailed everything - from country charm to luxury comforts. The restaurant was amazing - great champagne and wine and exceptional food. The chef is a genius! The rooms were very nice with fresh fruit and charming decorations. Our favorite...

I stayed in September 2006, during 3 days. If you’re looking for a majestic-style chateau, this is not the case. This is rather a small, cozy chateau, where they do not measure efforts to make you feel home. I was quite impressed with their care with all the minimum details. This kind of attention to details is not possible on...
