Stayed there last November for 2 nights. Lovely building, nice breakfast room and guest lounge. Our front-facing, bedroom/suite was very nice with a huge king-sized bed, sofa, table & chairs and the marble-walled bathroom with a large bath. Audry, the manager was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfasts were lovely. Convenient and yet quiet location in Rothbury, however, only on-street parking.

The Orchard House is a nice little B&B in Rothbury, a quaint little village in Northumberland, We stayed here one night on our way to visiting Alnwick Castle, and it was a pleasant and quiet little B&B. The bed was comfortable enough although there were a number of stairs to navigate, and the breakfast was nice. The host Audrey was...

First impressions were good being an attractive stone property on a quiet part of the High Street (don't be put off by other people's comments on this). We were shown to our room on the top floor which is quite a hike if you're less able bodied - wasn't a problem to us. The staff were very pleasant- particularly the...

What a stunning old building which has been updated to keep it's period features. An extremely high standard of furnishing and very clean throughout. A very friendly welcome with a glass of bucks fizz, what a nice unexpected touch. A very hearty breakfast provided a good start to a day exploring Cragside which is a short car journey away.

Orchard House is right on the High Street with plenty of on street parking available. Our front facing room was large, well equipped (including bathrobes and an umbrella!) and very comfortable. A good breakfast was served to us by the staff in the morning too.

Had the pleasure of spending last night in Orchard House whilst attending a fabulous gig by Brooks Williams. Audrey, the Manager, is a most welcoming host and the room was delightfully furnished and comfortable. The property is so conveniently situated with good parking outside and I highly recommend a visit to Orchard House. I forgot to print the full directions...

Whilst on a break in Northumberland we stayed over for 2 nights at The Orchard House, for the price we paid it was good value. In saying that, we got an offer price of £60 per night, if we would have paid listed prices it would have been expensive for the service. Accommodation and breakfast were both fine for the...
