Great family run hotel, very friendly. The owners, Steve and Angela are very welcoming and accommodating and go the extra mile to ensure that all guests have everything they need. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean with en suite. We had breakfast and evening meal which were both excellent. The star gazing tour is a must, its amazing and...

I have stayed at Casa Zaguan twice now both in February for over a week at a time. The owners; Angela and Stephen (who speak English) are very helpful and flexible. The breakfast available is good to get the day started or you can make your own simple foods in the kitchenette. The hotel is big, clean and comfortable with...

Just spent a long weekend in Tenerife, the first night in a hotel by the airport as we landed very late and didn't think we would be able to find Casa al Zaguan in the early hours. The following morning took a drive up TF-21 and was finding the place was a lot easier than we thought it would be....

I really dont understand where this review comes from obviously the guy wasnt happy but we do our best at very low price of around 16 pounds per person per night we are continually improving and the majority of our guests are more then happy. Breakfast is optional and it is plain and simple and at 4 pounds a person...

When looking for accommodation as a minimum I want a secure room that affords a good night's sleep. Although the room locked, the door could be pulled open and therefore the room was potentially accessible to anyone. The bed was very creaky and noisy so I could hear both myself and others (next door) each time someone turned over. There...

Lovely hotel in a beautiful area on Tenerife. Owners are very helpful, hotel room comfortable. We stayed here for one night to view the night sky, Steve picked us up from our hotel by the beach, and took us up Teide to the hotel, then cooked us a BBQ, and when it was dark he took us onto the roof...

Small family run business. Very warm welcome. Very comfortable. Nice rooms. Nice pool area. A great place to hide for a couple of days to relax. We went to watch the Perseids meteor shower and were well looked after with blankets, tea and coffee because yes, even in August in gets cold at 6,000ft whilst stargazing at 3.00am. Thanks you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our small family run guest house provides B&B for hikers families and visitors to nearby Mount Teide. We are situated overlooking the village plaza with its fountains and flowerbeds and statue of Vilaflor's patron saint Hermano Pedro just above to the right is the 17th Century church named in his honour. We have 6 ensuite rooms all of them have central heating which is powered by an Eco friendly Biomass boiler. The building dates back to the 18th century and we have tried to keep the decor to suit this period. Outside there is a heated pool and a hot tub and we are installing a sauna room at the end of March 2015. There are numerous sunbeds and seating to enjoy the sun. Inside there are several wheelchair friendly rooms with wide doors on the ground floor. A small fitness room with a table tennis table and a pool table free for guests to use on the 1st floor. On the ground floor there is a guest lounge with an open fire for chilly winter evenings and a small kitchenette for heating food and drinks. We have links with local hiking guides and fitness coaches and also organise holidays for guided hikes, bike tours of the island and fitness holidays along with birdwatching and night sky tours to Mount Teide all these can be booked through our email address. ... more   less
