For my nature I don't like to complain but this hotel needs some attentions. The building is nice and very charming. The reception area is really good, restaurant looks good as well. Our room was in the old building and it was very basic. Toilet too small and I had shower in the spa. Anyway as I ve been working...

From the outside, a colourful hotel perched on the hillside overlooking the coast many km below. The hotel is not in Vilaflor but halfway between Arona and Vilaflor, though still a handy location for driving up to the volcano. On the inside, the reception area is nicely done. This is no purpose built concrete block of a hotel, with long...

I visit Tenerife regularly for astronomy reasons. The clear, stable atmosphere & cloudless skies at altitude make it ideal for astronomers to view the night skies. This was the reason I chose the El Nogal. I needed to base myself close to Teide National Park, where I was going every night for my astronomy. It was a toss up between...

My title says a lot already. This stay has been a completely disaster. The room are ugly and old. The wi-fi connection, even if they say to have it, doesn't work at all. The breakfast is like the one you can have in a series Z motel. The service is embarassing. At the lobby if you come back later than...

wow, one of the weirdest hotel I have ever been to! I have no idea where the 4 stars come from, the place is crazy: no internet connection in the rooms, windows can't be closed and the design is totally tacky! the only interesting thing is the spa (which is quite good) although we had a bad experience in there,...

The website is very deceptive. As you pull up outside the Nogal, it is very pretty and so is the entrance but that is where it stops. This place needs new management and a good overhaul. The spa is shabby. The sauna didn't work and they use so much chlorine that it wasn't really a nice place to spend time...

As Residents of Tenerife we wanted a small Rural hotel away from the hype of tourism on the south coast to celebrate the New Year..... We found it at El Nogal, it ticked all the boxes for us. The staff in all departments were very friendly and created a pleasant experiance for us. Although the rooms are a little tired...

We stayed one night, and would have liked more. We went with two small kids, but I would like to go back with my husband only, as it is not really a childrens hotel. The hotel is beautifully setted in the mountains. We stayed in a room on the top floor with double balcony. Unfortunetaly it was cloudy so we...

My boyfriend decided to treat us to a spa break in the quiet area of Tenerife, Vilaflor. We were looking forward to a spa experience. Things looked promising as on arrival the hotel is beautiful. Very picturesque with amazing views, the interior was also beautiful, lots of charm. Our room was nice, adequate, large and bright with a double balcony,...

We booked an extra night on our holiday as we wanted to have a day in the Teide national park. I found this hotel online and was really impressed by the photos and the price. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. This hotel is a hidden gem, and if you are looking for somewhere to...
