wonderfully peaceful and quiet, could sleep for ages and very relaxing spa facilities on site. Great hotel and good restaurant, location is far enough from busy areas and close to Teide but also accessible. Staff very friendly and would certainly recommend to others

Definitely yes , all year round it is cooler in VilaFlor , last week it was 34 on the coast and about 22 up in VilaFlor , beautiful clear sky’s and clean cool air wonderful, Will always depend at what height the cloud layer is

My wife and I are planning a 10 day holiday at the beginning of January 2018. What sort of weather is normal for that time of year? We’re hoping to spend most of our time walking and cycling but it would be nice to relax in the pool in the evening. Will the pool be open in January? Many thanks.
Hello! The weather should be with nice temperatures, but we cant guarantee, is winter season the last two year we had no rains, day temperature around 23º and at night could be 5º to 15º. The pool is cover during the winter with a temperature of 26 to 29º. Looking forward for your stay Juan

Hello As a regular to tenerife we thought we go for a more traditional and luxury place. Few queations Is there a lift if no what are the steps likes? Is there parking? Are the beds comfy? Any helpful tips would be much appreciated as I have limited mobility but can manage.
Hello, to answer your questions. Yes there is a lift, however there are also rooms on the ground floor, so if you asked for a low room I am sure they could accommodate you. The steps are ok, they are very wide and with a slow gradient. The whole hotel has only 2 floors. There is plenty of parking outside the hotel on the road and a small car park across the (small and quiet) road. I can only speak about the one bed that we had, but yes it was very comfy, firm but not hard if that makes sense. The hotel reception speak very good English, if your Spanish is limited. You could telephone them and explain your limited mobility and I am sure they will go out of their way to help your stay be memorable. I cannot speak too highly of the attention we received. Enjoy your stay.

What are the nicest bars and restaurants around? Are there any busses to jump in and travel a bit around the island or taxi is the only option? Thank you!
Hi Lesia. We had a car, but the local village has a lot of places. However if we were at the hotel we dined there. Very good kitchen. Vegan. Vegetarian. Fish. Meat. Etc. Tjeck google maps for public transport.

Hi. Thinking on visiting here the first week in June. We like walking but also like to relax on a room balcony in the sunext to read. What is the temperature like up here in the mountains at this time. Thanks.
Hello Karen, There is a climate chart for Villflor in Wikipedia, which suggests that the average max daily for June is 21 deg C, perhaps a couple of degrees higher towards the end and a couple lower towards the beginning of the month - so rather pleasant. As well as the room balcony there are many nice places in the hotel grounds where you can sit, relax and read. I think the swimming pool has a retractable roof for the summer. There are half a dozen or so walks from the doorstep and the one heading up to the 'lunar landscape' is a particularly fine one.
