I overnighted in this hotel for one night due to work issues. The hotel is good, comfort bed, good breakfast, nice restaurant, good WLAN, friendly staff and easy to park. If you are there for one night due to travel; do not hesitate. It's good...More
Our visit was on a Sunday so the hotel restaurant was not open which was not only a dissapointment but proved a problem as nowhere else was open either, so best to avoid staying locally on a Sunday.Hotel was very smart with double glazing and...More
Late check in? No problem. Very friendly and efficient, a 7 euro taxi ride from the railway station. Train from Barcelona was about 30 minutes, just beware all signs are in Spanish or Catalan and on a dark night its impossible to see out through...More
This was a great little hotel for the value. It is off the beaten path from Barcelona, but for the price, you can not beat it. There is a daily train that cycles approximately every 15 minutes or so and will take you right into...More
The hotel is appropriate for business trips due to its facilities and relatively close proximity to the Barcelona-El Prat Airport (25 minute drive). The Montserrat Mountain is also not far off (20 minute drive). Not much more to say for the location. The Wifi quality...More

We stayed in Martorell for a week and used the trains almost every day. The FGC R5 line does use Martorell Central Railway Station and goes on to Montserrat. I only went as far as the stop prior to the one you will need for the monastery but it's a modern train and it sounds like the link to the transport up the mountain is straight forward. I'm not aware that the hotel puts on any special transport but the Martorell Central Station is only five minutes walk, downhill from the hotel. Trains are reasonably frequent. I was also very happy with the hotel itself.
Actually, there are two train companies using that station, and that made it straightforward to get into Barcelona too. I bought two consecutive 10 journey tickets, over the three zones to get into Barcelona. And, for variation, went in the opposite direction too. You could try emailing the hotel to see if they do put on anything specific for the monastery.
Hope that helps,
