Lovely people but very cold, the food was glorious, they have challenges with power so be prepared with layers and with torches and a battery backup pack Fantastic location for gorilla trekking, if a little on the high altitude side for me

They are simple huts with amazing views. The staff is friendly and the service is over the top. I still keep in touch with the staff! They wanted to make sure the stay was perfect so I can't say enough about the services for a small and quaint hotel. The main lodge is where I hung out he most cause...

We stayed here for 2 nights, booked through a tour company. The staff are very friendly and eager to help, and provided good, timely service. They even cleaned off our hiking shoes, muddy from trekking. They also prepared our cabins each evening, putting up the tent flaps and providing the lovely hot water bottles. The only negative was that cleaning...

My favourite hotel/camp in Uganda. Simple cottages but comfortable and the views from the veranda stunning. Nominate when you want a hot shower and you can hear the water coming down the pipes. It was cold in the mountains but they provide plenty of blankets. They turn down your bed while you're having dinner, pull down the mosquito nets and...

I stayed here in Oct. 2012. Probably the most rustic of the camps I stayed at in Uganda, although the views from the rooms of the surrounding mountains did a lot to make up for that. My accommodation was an en-suite permanent tent, which was comfortable, though somewhat haphazardly decorated; the bathroom (particularly the shower) could have been a bit...

Stayed here for 1 night. Arrived after a very long drive through torrential rain. We were greeted by the staff with smiles, umbrellas & hot tea & coffee! We had an immediate supper which was delicious and prearranged the hot water for our showers. The water was a little brown but very hot. Accommodation was lovely but it did get...

The main reason to come here is for the Gorillas, however the scenery and the people are also amazing. Lodge - Most of our party had lovely tents overlooking the forest, we had one of the newer cabins, however I would highly recommend asking for a tent as although the cabins had better water facilities it had limited character and...

It's located on the outskirts of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and very close to a village, in fact we did a walking tour from the Lodge through the village with a local - which was very interesting, informative and enjoyable. The lodge is on the side of a hill, overlooking the forest, with nice views from each chalet (more like a...

This place is in a lovely setting - the steps are not suitable for any but the most surefooted being constructed out of different sized planks of wood. It is quite cool being in an elevated position so the right clothes are needed. They put hot water bottles in the beds at night which is very nice and a great...

The cottages had porches with views of the lush vegetation. Numerous birds populated the trees. The restaurant served a set menu with tasty 3 course meals. It was located on a high spot and open on one side to allow diners to enjoy the view of the landscaped property. At night hot water bottles added to the comfort. Great place...
