Wayfarer's Guest House is a little gem tucked away in the town of Sabie, in South Africa, a mere 1 hour's drive from the world famous Kruger National Game Park. The host, Chris and hostess Merle have gone out of their way to create a comfortable, welcoming guest house, more like a home than a hotel. There are only 5...

I spent five days at Wayfarers Guest House during October. This was a little gem of a find and I was very lucky to find such a comfortable guest house. Wayfarers Guest House is in a quiet part of Sabie, but in easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Plus, being close to Kruger National Park. Wayfarers Guest House has...

We travelled as a family of 5 on our way to Sabie Sands. Our room was perfect for our family; one large double bed, and two single beds with en suite bathroom and very large balcony. Spotlessly clean and presented with extra treats of delicious brownies left on our pillows in the evening. Chris and his partner made us very...

We spent a night here on our way back from the Kruger Park. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel completely at home in this lovely environment. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was exactly what we needed. Great place for couples or families with older children.

My friend booked a room, as he was visiting Sabie for business. I joined him last minute so Chris (the owner) was unaware and as we arrived, first thing we heard when he saw us, was that the room was booked only for single occupancy, and that he did not know two people will be coming. Then he looked inside...
