The Calvados is a beautiful area, and this B&B fits right in. We stayed 3 nights in the Honfleur suite. Superberb bed and a Jacuzzi to die for. A simple but tasty French Breakfast. Christine is a lovely hotelier and helped us to guide for the places to be.

If you want a hotel with just character and peace this it . Christine is a friendly host who prepares a traditional French homemade petit-dejeuner. Located near the town of Cambremer - the centre for doing...

We spent three nights in the Domaine les Marrionniers for exploring this region of Normandy. It is located in the countryside but located close to the pretty villages of Cambremer (with some very good restaurants) and Beuvron-en-Auge. The accomodation was comfortable and there is a lovely garden which was perfect for an early evening aperitif or relaxing. The hosts are...

We spent two nights in the beautifully laid out Deauville suite. The property is delightfully situated, close to Cambremer, on the crest of a ridge. Dining options nearby are limited on Sunday and Monday evenings. So after eating at the creperie on the Sunday, which our host Christine had directed us to, the next evening we put together a Normandy...

In the spring, summer and in the autumn Les Marronniers is a great place. (I haven´t been there in the wintermonths but I believe it is just as good then) A relaxing atmosphere, large bedrooms of high standard, Very good and often homemade breakfast. Great hospitality. The hostess and host are very charming and helpful.

This beautiful hotel is situated on a lovely country road. It sits on the edge of a green field, amid trees and flowers, and has the feel of a small chateau. Our room was elegantly appointed. The bed was large and comfortable, there was a large couch, chair and table. Windows looked out on the field and a patio. The...

We were only able to stay one night at Les Marronniers, but after seeing it and the lovely countryside in which it was set, we wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the Deauville room. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
To come to a guest house or self-catering cottage is first of all to look for a unique atmosphere; it is the quality of a simple, respectful and warm contact with others which is our foremost consideration, as within a family. "Les Marronniers" have opened their guest house for more than 20 years. We hope to transmit our passion for guest houses, our estate and the region. To be noticed: country of Cambremer was recently awarded the label "site remarquable du gout" ("amazing taste site") for its cider. We hope, by welcoming you into our house, that you will feel it is a little yours... That your stay will leave you many memories of agreeable moments spent around the breakfast table; in your cosy bedroom; in the park with a good book; playing with your children in the forest, the garden or the meadow; or enjoying a magnificent sunset over the Dives valley...Coming to a guest house also means exchanging ideas about life in general; do talk to us about your region, your way of life, gardening, the latest book you enjoyed, a feeling... That is why we chose to open up our house, so it would be lively! ... more   less
