We held our wedding reception here in October 2016. What an amazing find! Fantastic rooms, wonderful period features, full commercial kitchen for our caterer to use, with bar you stock yourself and flexible and brilliant owners. We had a small reception with 20 guests and this place was perfect. I cannot recommend the place enough.

We needed to stay in Midsomer Norton and knew of The Old Priory when it was a reputed restaurant. Thought we'd stay here rather than a chain hotel close by. How glad are we?! From the moment we arrived our stay was pleasurable and memorable. Even though we arrived well before the stated check-in time, we were very warmly greeted...

My son and I stayed here for one night, I only wish it had been longer!! What a beautiful, historical building and furnished accordingly. We had a twin room with very comfortable beds. Had a good nights sleep followed by a hearty breakfast to set us on our way!! The Priory is owned by a delightful family who are so...

This is a really lovely place to stay if you are visiting the area- a very old property with lots of character and a roaring log burner in the reception area. The family room was incredibly spacious, very clean and modern with a comfortable king sized bed, 2 proper single beds (not put up beds) in a separate room off...

My partner and I have just spent the weekend at The Old Priory and we can both honestly say it's been perfect. If you are looking for somewhere traditional, cosy and peaceful just outside of Bath then this is the place to stay. I think here would be more appropriate for couples although there were a few families who were...

My wife booked here as a weekend getaway from London for my birthday. It is charming and clean. The person who received us was friendly but uninformed (little to say about the hotel, local restaurants, room). The problem was the cold - we had the Chapel Room. Last night was a cold & rainy November night. We left for dinner...

We are sorry the cold obviously disturbed this customers experience here. We were also very surprised as usually Chapel is one of the cosiest rooms with previous guests having commented how hot it can get with three radiators in the room. We investigated following this guests departure and discovered one radiator appeared to have been turned off and another one...

The owners couldn't have been more gracious. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled like they were line dried. We had the best night sleep. The breakfast was very good. Yogurt, fresh berries, granola, while fruit and eggs cooked to your liking. We would definitely recommend this place.

Booked this for 14 people. The booking service from Matt and Melody was the best I've experienced. They offered me options of booking the whole place as catered or partly catered. I chose from them, to do a BBQ Lunch at a very reasonable cost for home made food including the burgers. They even sent me a document suggesting fun...

When booking for business trips away, I always look for a good B&B rather than a chain hotel. Sometimes its bad, sometimes its fine and sometimes its excellent. The Old Priory fits into the excellent section. The Old Priory is as beautiful and charming as it looks in the picture. My room was spacious, well decorated and had all the...

We stayed at the Old Priory Inn over the bank holiday weekend. We booked it very last minute and what a find! The house is full of character and very well maintained. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed a lovely picnic there. We had a family room at the top of the house, the room was very clean and...
