We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our room was on the 2nd floor and very comfortable. Breakfasts were good as were our meals in the evening. The Pierhouse has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the view overlooking the loch is lovely.

Comfortable and welcoming hotel. Spacious bedroom, comfy large bed, nice bathroom and soft white towels. Staff very friendly and helpful, food delicious. Great place for quiet restful break, and good base for exploring Oban, Fort William and surrounding areas.

This is still a wonderful location and must represent one of the best places to stay on the west coast. The rooms are cozy, the beds comfortable and everything works. The staff continue to be helpful and welcoming. The seafood continues to be perfect. Just go there and enjoy!

On the basis of TripAdvisor reviews my wife and I booked a three night stay at the Pierhouse Hotel in Port Appin. Our expectation was for a hotel and restaurant in a fantastic location serving exceptional food with superior accommodation. The location is superb, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the room (8) was comfortable with a great...

Thank you for your review and we welcome feedback whether positive or negative. We are extremely disappointed you were not impressed with the overall quality of our food, which in view of the other very positive reviews on Tripadvisor as you have mentioned, is highly unusual. I have however spoken with our Head Chef in view of your comments and...

A perfectly lovely stay. The staff, premises, food and location are second to none. The wonderful owner and staff went far beyond the norm, helping to minimise the impact a big issue with my car. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this very welcoming place in a beautifully tranquil location.

The Pier House hotel is one of those warming welcoming spots that always draws you back. We were staying further south at Loch Melford but managed a sortie up to Port Appin and dinner at the Pierhouse. We were not disappointed and enjoyed a lovely meal in the extended dining room (I remember the pool table!). The ambience and friendly...

Stayed here with the family for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing food (including breakfast), cosy woodburner and huge range of whiskies in the bar, fun to play board games with the kids. The rooms are not huge or amazingly special (in a relatively modern wing) but very comfortable and the sea-facing ones have stunning views. We particularly enjoyed...

Delightful small, personally run hotel with excellent seafood and good breakfasts. Dinner is worth the trip alone but the hotel itself is cosy, clean, well-appointed and well-managed, with modern bathrooms and good fixtures and fittings. The setting is idyllic, by the little pier where the ferry to Lismore leaves, and where you can see fish arriving from time to time....

The pierhouse is a seafood restaurant with rooms. Right at the end of the road to Port Appin, this wee place is a great place to unwind. The food is fresh, tasty and plentiful and the rooms are modern, calm and simple. There are good walks to do in the area but it's quite easy to do nothing and chill...
