I haven't written a review for some time but had such a wonderful weekend at The Pierhouse that I had to let others know how great this place is! The room was beautiful and had a perfect view out right across the water, the staff were all really friendly and very accommodating towards our dog who was on her first...

After discovering the PierHouse in the summer, we have not hesitating returning there to celebrate the 60th birthday of my mother's partner. Personnel was attentive to their guests and the food was really tasty. The menu could be refreshed over the week (we stayed 4 days) to make the restaurant even more attractive. We enjoyed being able to cycle and...

Frustratingly could not book on-line - eventually lost the will to live. Subsequent e-mail/telephone requests met with no response whatsoever. Eventually got a real person on the end of the 'phone line - but this person could not "help" me to secure a booking - PITY!

Need i really say more than that. Although it is the end of the road for the ferry to Lismore and v little else is open at this time of year. The food was lovely and the coffee the best I've had on the west coast. Friendly staff.

Just a 24 hour stay in the middle of December. What an incredibly pleasant surprise. Impeccable customer service from the moment I phoned to book to the check out. For dinner, my wife and I ate the Cullen skink and pulled duck starters and both had steak as a main. Absolutely delicious and breakfast was of an equal standard. The...

A charming little hotel with attentive and friendly staff in a beautiful setting. The restaurant food is fantastic, the room was great and a cosy bar area with comfy sofas next to the fire place. Absolutely no complaints to be made about my stay.

My husband and I had the most delicious seafood meal at The Pierhouse! Staff were very attentive and helped us to choose the best options. We will definitely return in the future, when we're in the vicinity!

This is a gem of a hotel and Sea food restaurant at the end of a dead end road to the ferry to Lismore in Argyll between Oban and Fort William. A very warm welcome awaits the traveller. The bar is warm, cosy and comfortable. There is a good selection of drinks, including excellent single malts. The bar menu is...

Stayed here for 2 nights for first leg of our honeymoon. The rooms are really nice and the location is stunning. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We spent hours in the snug playing board games and relaxing with a drink . Great selection of scotch too. We will be back !
