Months of anticipation were rewarded with exceeded expectations at this serene Caribbean gem. Immaculate property matched by open, friendly staff who clearly convey their love for Anguilla life. Cathal Dolan and his team made my wife and daughters feel like true princesses. Our family was highly pleased with dining at Half Shell, Bamboo, Sunset Lounge and, ultimately, SALT. The spacious Sunset Lounge couples perhaps the best ocean bar views on the planet with great sushi and gracious interactive servers who make you feel so relaxed. Ghizlane made us a room upgrade offer that allowed my early twenty-something daughters plenty of privacy. And who can beat a balcony plunge pool and suspended floating mattress with oceanfront views? All in all, our visit was 100% stress free due to the grace and efficiency at this special place; time stood still for 6 days - and we can’t wait to return!…
Stayed here for a week in July 2022. This property is truly spectacular, pictures hardly do it justice. There is beauty everywhere you look. Two wonderful, and different, beaches with warm, clear water are only the start. We had a one bedroom suite overlooking the ocean, it was amazing to wake up to this every day. Staff are amazing, always eager to please with a smile. We went to other resorts for meals/cocktails and always were happy to come back because FS is superior in every way. Having said all that there are a couple things to be aware of. It is, indeed, expensive to eat and drink. Other places on the island are expensive too though FS seemed to be the most expensive. There were also a lot of children. We travelled as a couple and would have preferred less or no kids. They were loud and took over 2 of the three pools. We could usually spread out enough on the beaches though. I really love Four Seasons resorts but really wish they catered a bit less to families and more to couples to give us more of a relaxing time.…
This property is incredible. The rooms, the service, the beach, the gym, the spa, the restaurants. Everything perfect. The concierge Jason Webster made our stay great by helping with reservations and recommendations. The trainer Tania Jones is the best Pilates trainer I have ever met. I can't imagine any other place. being as wonderful as the Four Seasons Anguilla.
This property is incredible. Two beautiful beaches, three pools, great restaurants and amazing views. The rooms and staff are also fantastic. Can’t say enough good things about this resort, my wife and I will definitely be back
Gorgeous property, perfect beach. The hotel was the ideal spot for a family vacation, and we had a wonderful time. Both restaurants were very good, and the poolside dining was great. We all loved it and highly recommend it as an ideal family vacation spot.
We just returned from a family vacation at FSR Anguilla & it was wonderful! GM Cathal Dolan clearly establishes the superior service standard at this resort. Cathal greeted us upon arrival (with champagne) & he seemed to be everywhere & overseeing everything. Both before & during our stay, the Concierge Team couldn't have been more helpful assisting with our activities, dinner reservations, airfare arrangements & transfers. The front-of-the-house team was always helpful with taxis, luggage, etc. Stefano & the front desk team were excellent as was my favorite celebrity bartender, Valentino. The resort itself is extremely well maintained. The landscaping & grounds are beautiful. Everything is open air which is comforting from a health perspective. There are wonderful water views everywhere you look. Music can be heard each night in & around the Sunset Lounge. The service in Salt restaurant for breakfast & dinner was great. I loved the breakfast buffet each day & I was most pleasantly greeted by name each morning by an "army" of delightful host staff. Dinner at Salt was good but expensive (but so are all the restaurants in Anguilla). The water views at Salt are fabulous & dinner provided a unique opportunity to watch the sea turtles frolicking in the lighted water below. My only complaint being that the staff at Salt gives one a paltry pour of wine (it seems like merely 25% of a glass) when ordering wine by the glass so I suggest you order full bottles to avoid the surprising disappointment. The New Years eve dinner at Salt was great! We loved the cuisine, the ambience & the lavish selection of offerings. It was quite memorable. After dinner on New Years eve, we headed over to the bar area & thoroughly enjoyed the party featuring a wonderful band which played until midnight. Everyone was dancing to the music & having a festive time. Then there were impressive fireworks at midnight. The DJ began at midnight & he was just ok so the party kind of fizzled out at that point. One downside of the New Years eve party is that the resort was marketing party tables for $5,000 & up. Otherwise, one had to get drinks & seats at the bar. It was kind of insulting paying an exorbitant amount for rooms during the holiday week as well as paying a substantial amount for the New Years eve dinner at Salt & then being asked to pay thousands for a party table with "bottle service". Strikes me as a blatant & unnecessary money grab. I respectfully suggest that the resort ends this practice. My family did quite a bit of beachfront dining at Bamboo which was enjoyed by all. The resort especially the staff at Bamboo & room service (& Stefano) impressively attended to the gluten-free needs of some family members. Our rooms were spectacular. We stayed in 2 rooftop suites with fantastic views. Plus, we were able to turn our plunge pools into hot tubs! We were ecstatic about that. The housekeeping team kept our rooms clean & well maintained during our stay (which is no easy task with my sons). Much appreciated. A few points regarding room lighting. Unfortunately, one of our floor lamps was out the whole time notwithstanding that I requested for it to be fixed. Also, the resort should consider adding lighting to the rooftop terrace because there is none up there at night aside from the lights in the plunge pool. The resort has a decent gym which my family utilized during our stay & my wife enjoyed a Spa service. The beach at Meads Bay is beautiful but you have to get there early to reserve a front row chaise lounge. That's way too much of a hassle for me so I chilled at the Sunset Adult Pool which is quiet, has plenty of chaise lounges, & offers a stunning water views. It was most relaxing. The beach at Barnes Bay has only a very limited number of chairs (probably used by those staying in the nearby villas) so sitting there really wasn't an option. I golfed several times at nearby (5 minutes) Aurora which is a beautiful course. I appreciate such easy access to the golf. Our 8 night stay ended way too soon. All in all, I would definitely return to this resort for a family vacation.…
There is a lot that's wonderful about the resort. Beautiful facility, spectacular beaches. Dining, housekeeping and beach staff were quite lovely and accommodating. Unfortunately, Front Desk and Concierge staff were not up to what we'd expect from the Four Seasons. The Concierge gave us a confirmation of a 7:00 dinner reservation at a busy local restaurant and when we got there, we were told the reservation was at 8:30. The restaurant called the hotel who simply confirmed they gave us misinformation. We were also given misinformation about pickup time of two off-site excursions. Finally, it took two days and three calls to get the plunge pool in one of our rooms repaired. We did indeed bring all of this to the attention of the Management staff while we were on-site and found their response less than satisfactory. We just expect better from a Four Seasons Resort.…
We stayed over xmas/ New Years eve and the hotel was at capacity. However, the staff made you feel like you were the only one at the resort. The guys working the beach were attentive to every need, and the wonderful staff at Bamboo went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. I have stayed at some nice properties (including other Four seasons), but this is probably one of the best. We also enjoyed dinner and entertainment at Sunset lounge almost every night. We tried Salt, but prefer food (and the entertainment) at Sunset. Those complaining about not having access to hotel during peak holiday season, I can understand why they want to prioritize hotel guests vs. visitors.
Turned away at the gate. Have a home on Anguilla. Wanted to show hotel to friends. After cold and unfriendly reception at gate, friends booked atAurora instead. Much nicer people there. Arrogant treatment unacceptable for Anguilla! We have a lot of friends that visit us on the island. We will tell everyone to go to Aurora and avoid Four Seasons.
What can I say? I feel like the Four Seasons in Anguilla stands for everything that the FS is known for. Gorgeous setting, luxurious modern decor, first-class amenities, and the staff is the most caring and attentive there is. You truly feel so spoiled and cared for. Our Villa came with a personal butler and he was truly special. My husband asked him for a certain kind of beer and our butler made sure that exact beer was always stocked in our fridge. Would definitely go back! Loved it!
