This is a really nice place to stay. Meads Bay is a beautiful beach with lots of great restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store nearby. We had a one bedroom unit with a really well equipped kitchen, a lovely seating area and a covered balcony we used every day. The concierge was very helpful and the cleaning staff came every day and did a great job. I would stay here again.
The Location is good and the room is nice. The Major problem is that we didn’t sleep for 3 nights as the area around the hotel is infested with wild rooster that crowing NON STOP from 3am in the morning. The Hotel is aware and they don’t do anything to solve this problem. we were on vacation to relax and had ZERO assistance from the management.
I forgot to write this back in May! We really enjoyed our time at Turtle’s Nest. Jacqui was very responsive to emails before our stay and patiently answered all of my questions. They were able to stock some groceries for us prior to our arrival. We loved having breakfast on our balcony every morning. The room was comfortable and very spacious. And the view was unbelievable! The only downside was the lack of elevator.
This place is gorgeous! Located in the centre of the stunning beach on Meads Bay Beach, the views are picture perfect! The condos have a brilliant setup with everything you need. Really comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, clean, spacious, air conditioned and seconds from the beach. 8 min slow walk to the supermarket which has everything (not too expensive either). Local restaurants were a bit on the pricey side but with the kitchen at home and ALL the choice in the supermarket, we wanted for nothing. We even managed a bit of boring laundry with the washer dryer before leaving. It's everything we needed for a relaxing, first visit in Anguilla and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone without a moment's hesitation! Can't wait to come back 🥳
It was so pleasant and quiet. I hear we came during their off season, which is OK if u like having the beach to yourself and quiet nights to sleep. I only wish more restaurants near us were open. Had to go to Sandy Ground to find good local food. Like Conch or fish. There's a market called Best Buy near Turtle Nest and that makes it very convenient for u to prepare your own meals. We walked one day. We went to Tasty's, Criss Conch Shack and Elvis Bar and they r n Sandy Ground. Glad to have met Jackie, Betvania and Scooby. They were a great help. You can learn what u need to learn from them about the island. Very clean rooms with kitchette. Gives u that home feel. Meads Bay is top of the line. When I visit again I would rent a car for 2 or 3 days.
If you are an Ocean beach person you will love this hotel. We had the ocean front room on the second floor, and it was like right on the beach. No seaweed at all and listen to the ocean waves was great. The hotel is very clean and very nice, has everything you need in the condo. The location is very good very close drive to ferry and Best Buy. We went end August so it was empty had no problem getting a chair on the beach.
We hadn’t visited Anguilla before, but knew we wanted to be on the beach. We stayed in a fourth floor studio with sea views and it was fabulous. The bed was so comfortable, the cleanliness, fresh towels, rum punch on the beach at 5pm were outstanding. The shower/water pressure isn’t great and the bathrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, but that doesn’t make the whole Turtles Nest experience any less fabulous. The staff are all so friendly, happy and knowledgeable, in fact all the locals are so keen to help you, offer lifts if you’re walking, making sure you know where you’re going etc. The beach is so clean, and after visiting others on the island, we are convinced we stayed on the best beach. The restaurants are so easy to walk to along the road or the beach. Straw Hat, Blanchards Beach Shack , Jacala and Leon’s were our favourites, but if you get the chance to eat locally made food at a music or sailing event (June 19th sailing competition) and dance to the local bands, then do it……the chicken, rice, cornbread and jonny cakes were amazing! We hired a car for a few days, as apart from beaches, different eateries and a couple of wells, a handful of shops, there isn’t actually anything to “do”. We walk a lot and loved exploring the tracks to various bays. A very relaxing, beautiful place with fantastic people. And if we come back (bit of a journey from the UK) we won’t look at staying anywhere else than Turtles Nest.…
We stayed atTurtle’s nest for a week and while our room was nice as far as 3 star resorts go, it was hard for me to enjoy our stay because I was saddened by the way the staff treated the turtles. There is a turtle garden at the resort that’s over filled with tortoises. It’s a small space and it houses dozens of tortoises who are without fresh food and water on a daily basis. Tortoises need fresh water daily but there isn’t a place for them to get water. If your called Turtles Nest you should at least take care of your turtles!
Great no frills hotel. Great value for money. Best location! Betania and Jacquie were so awesome. Super helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean. We loved Mango restaurant down the beach! Our driver was Leslie and he was so nice. We will be back BTW having a washer and dryer in the room was so nice.
My husband and I just returned from six weeks, we rented a studio condo with ocean views. The staff here is amazing! From the ladies in the front office Beatania and Jackie,to our housekeeper Ileta,to Devin the fabulous landscaper, and to the Chef of all trades with a magical voice when washing windows Scoobie. The location on Meads Bay is great! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Strawhat next-door delivers cocktails and food which is very convenient. Blanchards Beach Shack,Ocean Echo also great. We had Chef Ivy Carty deliver food a few times. Loved her crayfish! Tastys was wonderful! Sharkeys,Leons for sushi,Mangoes(fabulous view),TratoriaTramanos(lunch),Roys, DolceVita on a Fridaynight,Elvis',Ferry Boat Inn, B&D's for bbq,Uchu for a day pass. Amazing Island and people. We were sad to leave!!!…
