Location is a beet remote but that is usually the case in Provance unless you take a hotel inside a village. Breakfast out in the hotel magnificent garden was a wonderful experience. Hotel kitchen stuff were very welcoming & caring to fulfil everything we wanted or needed. However, desk stuff were far less nice especially when we complained about cigarette...

This was the base for a recent cycling holiday in the Luberon and Vaucluse so we ended up staying here for 4 nights. It is just outside Pernes on the main road to Caroentras so not the most pre-possessing of locations but once you are inside the hotel grounds you are in a very large and tranquil garden with a...

Comfortable hotel a little way out of village, with pool and spacious grounds. Room smallish but provided air con, hairdryer and extra pillows. Continental breakfast buffet reasonably stocked, eggs extra. Staff really personable and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome. Cool lounge looks like it's straight out of 'Country homes and gardens'!

This old family house and its grounds are sandwiched between the two busy roads between Carpentras and Pernes-les-Fonataines - so once you're there you're rather stuck there and need a car or taxi to get in and out - even just to go to dinner. The minimum of changes have been made to turn a home into a hotel, so...

This was the base hotel for a recent bicycling tour of the Vaucluse area. It's comfortable, friendly and has a pleasant garden. The building, I imagine, was built as a very large private home, and the conversion hasn't destroyed a sense of comfort and calm. Rooms on the first floor are better than rooms on the second (based on one...

A fortuitous pick from an internet search brought us to L'Hermitage. It's a beautiful, relaxing place. Elegant building, and fantastic, landscaped grounds with a very nice pool. There's no restaurant, but the pretty village of Pernes-les-Fontaines, just five minutes drive away has plenty of great places to eat. The surrounding area has lots to do. There are vineyards and roman...

When we first arrived we were not sure what to think because the immediate neighbourhood isn't the most picture perfect scene one would dream of when travelling to the Provence. But, then, the next morning, when we started our day in the beautiful garden, we realized how lucky we were to find such a lovely place at such a price....

Rooms are pretty basic, so is the breakfast. Staff is quite helpful, but the grounds and pool are just fantastic! The best feature is the proximity to Pernes, where we visited the super market for all our supplies, and it's proximity to all the great Provence wineries in Sablet, Seguret, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape, etc.

A timeless hotel a couple of miles outside the town. A very relaxing place to stay, chilling by the pool, exploring the grounds or just unwinding. True the decorations are also a bit relaxed but everything is clean and works. Note whilst they do a great breakfast there is no evening restaurant, you have to hit the town.
