room looked good on entry but we soon realised there were drawbacks - low beams - bathroom unfinished..no towel rail..no mirror light..window drapes badly hung. bed was brilliant and lounge area good. beer choices excellent..food choices middled..brilliant curry..poor chichen pie. I cannot understand your room pricing? bonus vouchers were used on wine and breakfast. this was our second visit we...

I booked this hotel as a treat for my birthday as I'd heard really good things about the hotel. The location of the hotel is in a very small village surrounded in lots of countryside - there's no signal for mobiles, no internet and *gasp* no sky sports - so people looking for a hotel with more civilisation you won't...

A massive fan of Masham I visit regularly but hadn't stayed in the KH for a couple of years. Our group of 10 enjoyed some excellent ales, well kept in the bar and those who were there for dinner found it excellent and good value. The rooms are lovely and spacious too, but there were some slight disappointments... The rooms...

Excellent service, staff very friendly. room taditional decor, dated bathroom. all very clean. perfectly positioned in the centre of Masham square, ideal for exploring the beautiful surrounding yorkshire dales and local villages. The only down side was the room we were in(room3)was right by the street light which shone in between the curtains.

It was our 3rd stay and we thought the quality of the food wasn't as good as it had been in the past. Hotel is in a great location with plenty of car parking available. The village is great with lots to interest visitors.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean but there were none of the usual niceties in the bathroom and for £100 this was disappointing. A wall dispenser of wash liquid for use in the bath or shower but no shampoo or conditioner or moisturiser. Our friends stayed in the room next door and the heating was broken and...

Love this hotel. Real fires, cosy bar, lovely meals and very friendly staff. Fabulous location. Just love this hotel and its location is spot on for touring by bike or on foot. A grwar range of tea shops and country pubs. We will be back again soon.

I can appreciate every one has an off day now and then.. however today's visit to the kings head was far beyond an off day. My family (Inc dogs) popped in this morning for a light lunch to be told there were no orders being taken for 45mins. Ok I thought, the food must be worth it if it's this...

Was staying just a few miles away in the hills so popped into Masham for a meal. Parked up in the main Square where there was plenty of parking & went into the Kings Head hotel. There's a Bar & separate Lounge/restaurant, all felt old worldly, nice tables, Decor wood-burner. Everyone was friendly, staff were impeccable, good menu choice &...
