The first impression upon arrival: wow! Looked like a mansion from a from the 18th century surrounded by an Olive Garden of the same age. The place is very clean, very friendly hosts, wonderful pool with view over the ionic sea and the olive trees. Breakfast is served outside in the inner courtyard. For breakfast there was a nice little...

Loved everything about our stay in Tenuta Ciminata Greco , the breakfast was fantastic , the room, the pool, the setting and the staff. I honestly cant pick any faults or add a suggestion of improvement. We had originally booked to go to the near by Aqua park but we had just as much fun at Tenuta Ciminata Greco.

This would be a wonderful wedding venue, as it is beautiful building with attention to detail. The rooms are quiet and spacious and well decorated. bathrooms larger than most hotels. Breakfast was good, in a large room. The owners are very friendly and helpful and speak english. Some very nice old towns in the area, ask owners for ideas. Lovely...

Living in Liguria, I'm not used to friendly dogs, so it was wonderful to arrive here and be virtually led to reception by a friendly white terrier, and his pal (breed not sure) was also pleased to see us. They clearly took the lead of Marco, a member of the family who does a lot of the management. Marco and...

Stayed one night as part of a group and would have happily stayed longer. The property is a lovely restored building, parts of which were an olive oil mill, set in lovely gardens with a pool. The position in the hills above Rossano up a long track is quiet and relaxing, with pleasant views down to the sea. Mario the...

Greco ended up being our favorite place in all of Italy. We drove from Sorrento through many small mountain towns and didn't know what to expect. Although we didn't speak the language all the people we encountered were so friendly! The view at Greco and history of the families home were both unforgettable. The hospitality of the staff made us...

We felt so lucky to stay at this gorgeous, stately, and super comfy agriturismo in Rossano. April may be a little known secret for Calabria as we had the town and hotel to ourselves. Our room was lovely, clean, and bright. Each morning we ate homemade pastries, jams from the fruit trees outside our room, and drank fresh orange juice....

Tenuta Ciminata has an understated elegance that captures you the minute the gates open to the property. I have been to Italy several times (Amalfi, Florence, Venice, Rome, etc.), however, this was my first visit to the southern depths and the region of Calabria. After my stay here, I feel as though this was my very first time seeing the...

We booked this place for only one night and would have loved to have stayed longer. Mario was a very welcoming host, gave us information on places to eat and sights to see, and booked us an English speaking tour at the Amarelli Licorice Factory. This olive farm has been in the family since 1700. The buildings have been nicely...
