We stayed here one night on our way from Panama City to Boquete. We were the only guests in this beautifully located hotel. The views from our room were stunning, ovrelooking the mountains. From the restaurant you can have a good view of many colourful birds when the hotel staff feeds them. What a good decision to stay here. We...

Upon our arrival we got upgraded with to a larger room with sliding doors and an amazing view. The grounds are well looked after with many orchids flowering in the trees. Lots and lots of birds. We did an early morning hike to a waterfall - Cascade de Tavida - crossing lots of rivers and walking upstream. The swim in...

We stayed here for just a night, it was just enough for our group. The hotel was very nicely located in the hills, had a nice restaurant, although not enough guest. The rooms are nicely done, although the bathrooms could use a few amenities more, like a table to put your toiletries on. HAving a B&B of my own I...

Our room, one of the premium accommodations, was worth every penny--huge windows on one side, sliding glass door and a balcony with a hammock on the other looking down a cloud forest valley and hills. We've never seen so many exotic, colorful birds, drawn by the lodge's lush grounds and remote location. The meals were simple, primarily based on local...

My friends and I spent two blissful days here. We took a three hour hike to the waterfall then we all jumped in at the bottom of the falls. We spent our time taking advantage of the wonderful views, the massages, the hot tub with views, the service, and the food - absolutely incredible! At night the tree tops were...

This hotel is located in the mountains above the town of Penonome (approximately a 45 min. drive from the center of town). The setting is serene and beautiful! Lush, green with tropical plants and flowers and great views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Relax in a hammock on the balcony and enjoy the sights and...

It is quite hard to find the hotel when driving over pot holed roads and un-protected drops which are under repair. But the location on arrival is fabulous. Quite what is ‘Eco’ about the place is beyond me! Our room was “The Suite” which had a stunning view and of a reasonable size, but that was it, other than a...

Absolutely exquisite setting and the grounds and facilities were well attuned to the mountainous lush area. For spa lovers who seek peace and it is. Perfect serene place. Rooms were well appointed (the wifi worked in our corner room mostly) without TV and that kind of thing. The hammock (so Panamanian) in our balcony with a great view ) was...

As we headed into the lush, green hills above Penonome, we had great expectations for our 4-night stay at this “eco hotel.” The website and some TripAdvisor reviews lead us to believe that this would be a highlight of our Panamanian trip. Yes, the Posada offers a lush tropical setting filled with beautiful flowers, birds, and butterflies. Yes, the Posada’s...

The Cerro Las Brujas Ecological Hotel, is situaded in a high mountain in the Penonome city in Panama. The hotel has tiny houses, with an spectacular view of the mountain, but, that's all it has to offer, is boring, the owner spend all day walking around the premises, trying to get the customers to spend their money in massages provided...
