We called from our B&B in Agrigento the night before we stayed to book this friendly hotel. We drove from Agrigento to Villa Romana del Casale, and then through Piazza Armerina to Hotel Pomara, which was the perfect place to rest for the night. We arrived later in the afternoon, checked in, and then drove to Caltagirone to see the...

Chose San Michele Di Ganzaria as a different place to visit. Locals very friendly. Recommended by a former "local" and was not disappointed. A good place to stop when traversing the island. Food was average but true Sicilian.

Stayed there for a wedding in July 2014, staff is very friendly and helpful. The wedding took place there and it was wonderful, food was scrumptious and service was excellent. Breakfast is continental and is very good too.

Stayed 15 nights. Very good value for money. Is exactly what it says - a 3 star experience although the pool is probably closer to 5*!!! Room spacious with balcony with a lovely view onto the small village. It's location is good if you have a car (in fact this is a must) as its central to everywhere. Very clean...

From the outside it is not an attractive hotel as it needs some maintenace and upkeep but the rest is perfect. A family run hotel, helpful staff with a smile on their face. Clean rooms with a great view of the small village (circa 4,000 people). The pool is quite big and the water temperature is cool with a nice...

Small, family-run hotel, very suitably located for anyone visiting Caltagirone, Piazza Armerina and whereabouts. We missed the turning to the hotel - the road singage could, in fact be improved upon - so here are the hotel co-ordinates: 37.27836 14.42935. The hotel is perched on top of a steep hill - see photo. Rooms are spacious and clean, though they...

The hotel was very clean, the rooms a little bit old fashioned, but it was OK. The food was excellent, and the staff were kind and helpful. The pool is situated in very unique atmosphere, and rather big.

It is apparently a 3 Star hotel but the Pomara hospitality and service deserves 7 Stars. This family run hotel has an adjacent restaurant where the food is amazing. The Hotel Pomara is surrounded by the most splendid countryside where all the staff welcomed us with a wonderful natural smile. It is definitely the hotel I shall be longing to...

The restaurant is excellent and Johnny the waiter is a scream. Our food was delicious. I really appreciated the pool and wifi in the room. I thouhgt the staff were really professional. We had a wonderful pizza in the local place and the best ice cream of our trip at a very unassuming place down the street.
