Really pleasant surprise and a very enjoyable meal here. Excellent service and value for money. Good location too for exploring the Cotswolds and plenty of car parking - helpful if you've got a horse trailer on the back !

A colleague and I stayed here for one night to attend business meeting near by. Room was very peaceful and comfortable. Excellent shower met all my needs. Had dinner in the evening and meal was also very good. Breakfast in morning was huge and again of a very good standard. Would recommend. Colleague also agrees and will stay again.

Booked day before to break journey back from Plymouth and aim to visit Slimbridge WWT. Very pleased with the choice as the rooms were quite adequate & large bathroom - even though it's on a busy road the rooms are in an annexe at the rear so it was quiet - and the welcome and included breakfast was exemplary. Chose this pub because of the excellent reviews. Not disappointed! Not great from the outside but as soon as you walk in you are made very welcome by the staff. We ordered 2 fish pies which were fantastic.

What a lovely place, the staff were next to none and nothing was too much trouble, the party food was good, my niece wanted a southern comfort drink from the bar and they had run out....what did they do.....the bar man ran to the local shop and purchased a bottle....how good was that. The room was basic and comfortable, good...
