Large hotel, with basic rooms. The swimming pools are also basic. There's a lot of food but always the same. Cocktails from the all-inclusive formula were OK. At the evening you have a lot of noice from the shows in the hotel if your room is on the 1st floor.

I stayed at Hotel Portomagno on a half board basis as a solo female traveller for 6 nights and I would not return... Weather Absolutely beautiful Spanish summer, it hit 34 degrees and there was a nice breeze from the sea. Upon Arrival The hotel was about 30 minutes from the airport (I would recommend booking a Hoppa.com transfer). I...

Brilliant position overlooking the beach and marina. We arrived earlier than check in but staff were very accommodating. Room was on 8th floor overlooking the bay.....stunning views. Room was stylish, simple and spotless. Breakfast was faultless, plenty of hot and cold choices. Best bacon in Spain!! Completely recommend. Car parking was extra but well worth it as it was completely...

Just had a week in this hotel, and enjoyed it very much, nice hotel, but not for you if like British food. Hotel was about 90% Spanish and it was obvious that it catered for them. Entertainment was also aimed at the Spanish and was all in Spanish with no attempt to translate for the few foreigners who were there....

After staying several times at this hotel, this was the worst occasion. A friend who was ill tried to call the reception since they were confined to their bed: no one answered. Ever. Staff were helpful in assisting us to call a doctor, but were not able to provide any food during the day such as room service, despite him...

We had a room with a sea view. The airconditioner was inadequate, the shower flooded the room (not just the bathroom) with each shower, the bathroom was not clean - lots of hair on the floor when I mopped it up, the door to the balcony did not lock, the staff were very unhelpful and disinterested.

We stayed at the hotel for a week in July 2013. Check in was smooth, we got a room with a see view. It is not a luxury hotel, as furniture and the whole ambience of the hotel is outdated, but the rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. Almost nobody speaks English here except of few basic words. Buffet had...

This hotel in prime location used to be great when it was first built a few years ago. However, little or no renovation has taken place ever since, and as a result the facilities look dated, although I wouldn't say that it's in disrepair. In the past couple of years there has been a heavy influx of pensioners, mainly from...

Used this hotel as a base for a recent viewing trip to Almeria. Hotel seemed OK on arrival, however it was Spanish pensioners week! So hotel was busy with them. I think we were the only Brits! Reception are clean, quick check in. Didn't get the Top Floor we requested, but we were on floor 9. Also paid for a...
