I stayed over one night at Naxi Guest house and arrived in the late afternoon. Mr and Mrs. Nice were very welcoming and after a nice shower, I enjoyed the view of the mountains. Saw a beautiful sunset. Dinner was delicious. The night sky was filled with stars. Restful night and bed was comfortable. Bfast the following morning was oatmeal...

I accidentally wrote a review for the actual hike instead of the guesthouse. The Naxi Family guesthouse was the first stop on our 3 day hike. It is so beautiful here and the food was the best we had along the trek. The breakfast porridge with banana was perfect for a chilly morning start. Hot water in some rooms, if...

We didn't live here but we stopped by here for food. Overall a great place. The service is top-notch. They will help you even if you decide not to eat here. Very genuine people. The food is probably the best among the popular guesthouses in the Gorge and it's pretty cheap for what you get. Stop by for a quick...

Our room was warm and clean, the bathroom is basic but fine. The view from the terrace is fantastic and they cook a really good meal. I thoroughly recommend this guesthouse, it is a welcome place to rest before the next section of your walk.

We stopped here for lunch as part of our first day of the Tiger Leaping Gorge trek (we were aiming for halfway for the first night). The food was great - highly recommended. Although we did not stay over night, it is certainly an an attractive location run by a very helpful and friendly family. Had we started the trek...

Most travelers stop for lunch and continue on their way to the Halfway Lodge. We weren't rushed during our trip and wanted to stay as long in the gorge as possible, so we decided to stay overnight. Looking back on 3 nights in the gorge, Naxi Family Guesthouse was our favorite. The beds were simple but comfortable, and most of...

We stopped here for a delightful lunch on our first day hiking the gorge. The staff were very friendly and the tasty meal set us up for the strenuous 28 bends ahead of us. The courtyard has lots of maize hanging out to dry, and the backdrop of Jade Snow Mountain towering above was unforgettable.

My group of 5 were very happy to have made it to the Naxi family guest house after a long hot trek in the blazing sunlight. We utilized a reservation agency from Shaxi town to help us make a reservation for 3 rooms with en-suite bath for 1 night, which may not have been necessary, but they had a lot...

We had soup and fried rice for lunch and loved it there. They have a english- Chinese menu and there was a lady speaking a little english, this made ordering very easy :) Also it is very cheap (1,35 l water for 5RMB) and just at the right place to gain energy for the hardest but most beautiful part of...

We stopped to eat lunch here...great banana pie (nothing like you would except but hit the spot). Great view, friendly staff. I would recommend plan your hike with walking the 3 hours from Qiatou to here and stay before attempting the 4-5 hours of hard hiking before the next village and guesthouse.
