We were three people in a family bungalow. We expected it to be bigger, but it was still cozy. Small terrace outside and there was a bath. We were surprised of a hot water and strong stream which filled bath quite quickly. Room is clean, most likely quite cool during summer as there were tiles everywhere. As it was not warm yet we did not use AC but it is there. Lot's of spaces to put things in. Hotel staff is very friendly, everyone smiles and helps out. There is lots of greenery around the hotel area, many different trees and flowers. Food variety is good. Quality is so-so, of you want a truly amazing experience go to Ταβέρνα Ὁ Μπροκογιώργης in the mountains. We especially liked snack bar as there was always tasty pizzas and other snacks. Breakfast is usually the same with minimal variation but everyone can find what they want to eat. Lunch and dinner varies more. We especially liked the beach. It looks well taken care of and the sea bottom is sandy. It gets from knee deep to waist deep quite quickly, but it does not get much deeper than shoulder deep. You have to pass a few meters long area of stones to reach the sand but once you do the sea bottom is amazing. There are sun umbrellas everywhere and during this period there were a lot of empty ones but I can imagine during the season they get taken quite quickly. However there are still things around to pay for: arcade in games room and even scales in the lobby are 1euro per weighing. Overall very satisfied with the stay and if we ever get back to Crete and want to stay in a hotel we will stay here.…

We spent an amazing week with our 3yo kid in the Dolphin Bay resort. Although the room equipment is slightly aged, you swiftly forget that when meeting the friendly staff (animators and bartenders, .. Minas is the best bartender-gentleman ever!) and enjoying time at the beautiful pool and beach.. The basic all-inclusive beverages (beer, coffee, juices,..) are lower quality (expected), but there's a fair selection of all-inclusive cocktails, including non-alcoholic. The food selection is excellent.

Stiv, Marika, Federico, Mimo, Natalia and all the other awesome people from the animation team made me feel young again. Morning stretching followed by aqua gym with Stiv helped me start a great day everyday i stayed at the hotel. My son has the time of his life with the ladies from the Mini Club and i felt that he was in a safe environment with them. Evening entertainment with Mimo, Federico and the girls were a lot of fun and designed for both adults and kids. I will definitely return to Dessole Dolphin Bay Hotel in the future.

Close to the airport, very very friendly staff (across the Hotel). Appartment was cleaned daily. WiFi was perfect (even Netflix streaming was possible). Beachbar food was delicius. Beach was clean, with nice sunbeds. Food in the restaraunt sometimes lacked a bit of variaty, but it was ok having in mind that they serve 3 meals every day, there is enough to choose from especially for the kids. Main building rooms had seaview which was not mentioned during booking and was a nice surprise. Water in the pool and pool slides were very nice. However pool slides are only for older kids. Having in mind that it is an midlevel all inclusive offer, drinks quality was acceptable. Included tap beer was drinkable and refreshing, and juices/soft drinks were standard for this level of hotel. During Covid 19 the hygiene was well maintained (mandatory gloves in restauraunt, masks inside etc). Just a bit windy in September for small kids. In peak season there is a shortage of sunbeds at the beach and the pool. We felt it only for a day. There is power plant in the far distance, but we didn't mind. Stayed with 2 small children (4 y.o. and 6 m.o.) and with my grandparents (80 y.o.), so I can safely say that they have facilities for all ages. The hotel is clean, the pool, sea (word to the wise, there are waves) and beach are wonderful and the food is great, but the true highlight of the hotel is the staff. Everyone working here from the reception, to the cleaning staff and until the beach boy are friendly, polite and always ready to help. The entertainment staff are awesome, engaging and always active. The best part for me however was visiting the SPA. It was hands down the best massage I ever got, not to mention that the lovely ladies working there were extremely nice and the atmosphere truly relaxing. If you are staying at Dessole Dolphin Bay I highly recommend you visit Valentina at the spa, you will feel like a new person once you get a massage from her, her hands are magical.…
