We had the most enjoyable two night stay with Flavia and Fulvio who made us very welcome. The hotel although tucked away was clean and comfortable and Flavia was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed two lovely evening meals although this isn't usually on offer but we managed to persuade Flavia to do some delicious home cooked Italian food. She...

B&B Il Lapilo is perfectly located for trips up to Mt Vesuvio, Pompeii and Ercolano ruins. Parking is available in the courtyard of the house and very secure behind automatic gates and under the watchful eye of their handsome Alsatian, Zeus who patrols his territory but welcomes all guests :) The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a...

Great host! The whole family was very nice and friendly and we felt very comfortable. They drove us to the city center of Napoli and picked us up in the evening at the metro station. So we had no trouble with the traffic. The room was clean and the bed cozy. At breakfast Flavia served homemade cake, croissant and lemon-marmelade....

When the children is home they will help with the translation  For Eur12 (per person for 4) we have the best spaghetti (simply...

We decided to book this place for an overnight stay so we can visit the area without feeling rushed.  After we've been to Herculaneum and lunch the owner's son picked up from Ercolano Scavi station. The accommodation is located not far from the station and has 2 rooms. Bath towels were provided,  no toiletries and the bathroom is shared.  There...

We stayed at Il Lapillo for four nights and it was the perfect place to base ourselves for visiting Naples, Paestum, Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and Caserta. Fulvio & Flavia were warm and friendly hosts, we couldn't speak Italian so sometimes their son or daughter had to help with translations, or we used Google translate, but everything turned out fine....

We stayed at B&B IL Lapillo for four days and chose this place because of how close it was to both Pompeii, Vesuvius, and the Island of Capri. Fulvio offered us free pick up and drop off between the B&B and the train station which connects to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, and Sorrento asking only that you text or call when...

“There're 2 rooms in total. One with a double bed. One with 2 separated bed. But if you have more people, they can manage to put Bunk bed to fit everyone in.”

“There are only two rooms in this B&B. Each is a terrific option, though one has bunked beds in addition to a double for those who might have kids with them.”
