My gf and I stayed here 1 night after the 20km torres del paine trek. As we were going to the Glacier next day we needed a hotel near the lake and this one was the best choice, it is near the "Catamaran" and has...More

A taxi would be very expensive. How did you get to the hotel for the Navigation? We rented a car from Puerto Natales at a place called Newen Car Rental which was a good experience. It was a stick-shift Geely (Chinese built) that was fine (be sure they have a frost scraper in it). If you want a small SUV (Rav 4) with automatic transmission you'll pay about $125 a day. The Geely was perfectly adequate at $80 a day. The car does take a beating on the poor roads so drive slowly. With a map and a degree of confidence in your own ability you'll be able to make the trip with a rental.
