Great camping facilities, meals were great and this area had the best choice when it came to types of accommodation it offered. Just be ware of the micr when camping, don’t keep any food on your tent or they will chew through it

This refugio is smaller than Torres Central, but has more character and was a bit more like the other trekking experiences we've had. The smaller rooms, and a lovely bar area with shared tables and benches, makes for a cozier atmosphere than the larger refugios....More

As this was half way through our W trek, we decided to book a private cabin for a change from bunk rooms and this did not disappoint. The cabins are located away from the main accommodation and have a great view out over the lake.

Welcoming human-sized refuge with an agreeable common room with a view, free games and good hot wine (very welcome after a rainy day hiking). Rooms are clean and bedding is comfortable. More water pressure in the showers would be welcome though
