The best part is the fantastic view of the mountains. Photos from the lodge, or a short walk to the river's edge are great. The location is very good - especially if you want a view. We did not enter the rooms of other hotels, but I think the hotels at Lago Grey, Pehoe, and Expora are older. The location...

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Rio Serrano Hotel. The hotel was beautiful, offered great views of the mountains, had friendly and helpful staff, great excursions, and great meals! The grounds surrounding the hotel are beautiful with the horses roaming around and the river running behind the property!

My wife, mum and I checked in for 4 nights after driving back to Chile from El Chalten in Argentina. We were not expecting much more than a usual big hotel experience - you know, like hoping for a thoughtful one-off dining experience but instead being served Macdonald's. But, very welcome surprise, Rio Serrano is a stylish and comfortable hotel...

Torres del Paine is a beautiful place and the most amazing parks. They have beautiful and a variety of views. The hotel is clean, nice, confortable, enough space at the room and beautiful views because they are in the park and they have a nice location. We paid only with the breakfast and hire a tour by our own. This...

Located right at the entrance of the park (but still quite far away from the main hikes). As every other hotel in the TdP area this one is highly overpriced. The building is quite new and so are the rooms. They have a buffet restaurant for $38 per person which we didn't use though. Instead we went to the bar...

My 3rd trip to TDP but my first stay at Hotel Rio Serrano. I came up river from Puerto Natales, first by a large boat (300 passengers?) to Bernardo O'Higgins NP for a walk to the Balmaceda Glacier, then by zodiac up the Rio Serrano to Hotel Rio Serrano. I only spent 1 night but here would have been happy...

Arriving at the Rio is less than stunning but the internal facilities are excellent. The rooms are large, well appointed, clean and well maintained with absolutely stunning views of the mountains. We got some of our best pictures of the mountains from the horse paddock one morning when the skies were clear and one could stand without being blown over....

The was without a doubt the best hotel in our entire trip. Very friendly staff, awesome view over the Torres del Paine from the panorama windows in the room. We stayed over Christmas and they put on a great Christmas evening buffet. Convenient location just outside the park entrance makes it very easy to get to all corners of the...

My husband and I stayed at the Rio Serrano for 4 nights and did the W trek in day trips unguided. We LOVED the hotel - it was super convenient for getting into the park (5 mins from park entrance, 30 mins to the catamaran, 1 hr from Torres trailhead) and very reasonable relative to the other options in/near the...

Loved this hotel and it's proximity to the glorious peaks. Very comfortable rooms and warm, as it was chilly in October. Ate several meals here and enjoyed the bar and it's libations. A nice taste of Chile in surroundings that make your mouth gape open with the amazing views!
