My family really enjoyed Riviera Strand Hotel. Wonderful place for adults and kids. Many activities for kids which was fantastic. Its next to the sea so we could enjoy sea view from our room, restaurant and sauna! Staff was super friendly ! ❤️Thank you again!
Good location, but no character. All very practical and clean. A few coloured cushions would modernise the place as would a few pictures on the walls and some side tables or chests-of drawers in the very long, dull non-descript corridors. Great for active people who like to swim, play tennis, walk or cycle. A solarium for wet days would be great to rest in after using the indoor pool as there is only an outside sundeck. we stayed at the end of August which was conference season, so the hotel was full, but quiet. High season until mid-Aug could be much noisier with children as it is a very practical hotel for families.
Nice hotel with good sized family rooms. Indoor pool area and lots of games for kids. Great breakfast. Dinner is good, some days buffet and other days set menu. Always kid’s buffet and free soft ice. Be aware that the hotel underground parking has a daily fee and there is only 10 outdoor (free) parking lots. I can understand the neighbors’ frustration as a lot of guests park along the street.
Fantastic hotel and employee's, everything looks was good and nice , the food also delicious, reception was helpful any time we need , kids had fun alot , nice area to walk around the hotel , different activities in the hotel
Amazing stay and very nice food very Close to the beach and easy parking. kid have a lot of activey there and nice family area to hae vercation there verty cloes to the center of the city it you want to have a walk there,
A 2-night stay with a large group of friends. Did not get the chance to use all the hotel's services, but again lovely hotel. The location is so, so perfect. I will certainly return with my wife in the near future. On this occasion, my experiences are of the room, poolhaus, and restaurant. The room, actually an apartment, I was given was on the ground-floor with a veranda and direct access to external. 6x persons could easily fit in the apartment, but I think the apartment is generally intended for disabled guests. However, the whole apartment did feel a little cold during my stay. The restaurant, being a large group (30 plus) was already pre-designed. The portion sizes were very small and very much a fusion-themed dining at the GRAM group of hotels. We had to order additional food to be somewhat satisfied. Finally, the use of the poolhaus was very welcoming. As a fan of saunas, I used the sauna. Unfortunately, I had an accident with one of the wooden benches snapped as a I stepped onto it. Luckily, only minor scratches and a superficial cut on my foot that I took care of it myself. Otherwise, it could have been much serious with exposed broken wood and screws, After reporting it to the reception, I would expected the hotel management to be concerned and approached me, whether I was alright, but no and reflects a certain lack of empathy towards the safety of its guest. That said, I will be returning very soon with my wife. …
Family of 5, stayed 4 days over Easter. Nice big clean rooms with terrace. Great up to date hotel. super location, beach front. good food. outstanding service. good pool area. Good for kids and adults also.
Very nice rooms and surroundings. The spa is a mix of childrens pool and spa. 20 minutes away to rent skies and equipment at Vallåsen. Only drawback is the Childrens menu which could have been a bit more exicting but that is only the parents talking - kids loved it.
We went 2 days over Christmas; 2 adults, one kid. Note: they accept dogs. Beautiful rooms, tight indoor parkings (we had a big car), outdoor parkings available and a few charging stations for electric cars. Gorgeous dinning room, nice staff, play room for kids, indoor pool, dry sauna, 2 outdoor hot baths. Here comes the “but”; vegetarian options were a bit disappointing and you can forget about vegan… for the “Jul bord” (which is usually the standard Xmas buffet), there was very little vegetarian options, so I asked for the vegetarian meal instead; the entrée was great and than I got the main course… frozen veggie “meat balls”, frozen veggie sausages, over salted/marinated tofu bits, dry potatoes without any sauce and a root veggies. I don’t know what happened between the entrée and the main course. There was a “picky kids” buffet with the usual easy finger food. I thought this one was clever. And the background music… especially at breakfast time; way too loud… I mean, 7:00 in the morning, only people up are the ones with young kids and the retirees… pretty sure no one wants to hear nightclub music blasting while eating at 7:00 in the morning. Soft piano or soft Xmas music maybe? Even in the playroom for kids, the music was very loud. Nice place overall.…
Hotel Riviera Strand is located next to the beach in an idyllic part of Sweden. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar/cafe. The service is excellent and the rooms are spacious and of high quality. There is a swimming pool with associated outdoor hot tubs. I can highly recommend the hotel for a one or two night stay.
