Good place to rest with friends after exploring around. The hotel is located in a strategic place close enough to the heart of town and near enough to a beautiful lake. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again!

I was in hometown Taiping with my wife for Eid Mubarak recently and we stayed at this hotel for a night. The building itself is a 70s style but the management has done a good job to maintain it. The room is very spacious clean tidy supplied with flat screen tv hotcold shower aircond and even a fan. Even free...

Came to Taiping for a business trip, when i arrived at Furama hotel, the outside look old. And after i stepped into the hotel, everything look old fashioned. But everyone working there were very nice and friendly. There were no lifts at the hotel, but their stuff will ask u if u need first floor room. The room was big...

Spent 3 nights here and it was my first stay in the Furama although visited Tipping a few times before. It is a typical Chinese run budget hotel and at MR84(£14) pn good value for a mainland hotel. The rooms are a reasonable size with ensuite bathroom, hot shower, satellite TV,tea & coffee and free WiFi. It is situated very...

We spent five day's here at the Furama hotel in Kuala Lumpur and have to say it's just as good as the other's we have stayed in. This hotel group are right up there with the best as far as value for money is concerned. The hotel is really central for Bukit Bintang, lots of authentic Malaysian restaurants near by...

The hotel is old, but clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and linens clean. The Taiping Lake is just a corner away. Walking distance from Taiping old town. There's parking spaces available and guarded at night. Soundproofing is below average so noisy neighbours might irritate your sleep at night. WiFi is good. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely come here...

Everything is good except limited hair dryer. (Warm reminder: if you need a hair dryer must bring along or request early.) The toilet no smell but still can see some stains on the wall. Friendly staff, good location.

Whenever we are in taiping we chose to stay here. The location is the best, just around the corner from the beautifull lake and plenty of eateries nearby. The rooms are simple, clean and very good for the price you pay. It would be even better if they replaced the electric shower. The staff behind reception is so friendly and...

Worst Indian breakfast rooms are very small.but location is good lot of things are nearby. Restaurant staff are either not cooperative or not understand the requirement. As a Indian we feel homely in Singapore.
