This guest house does exactly what it needs to. It's not luxurious, but it is very friendly and welcoming with clean, good-sized rooms, hot showers and decent food. Most people come just for one night to climb Adam's Peak. This is what we did and it's perfect for that. You can walk straight from the hotel and you will meet...

Good location for the climb, very friendly staff, perfect post climb breakfast. Room had no mosquito net, despite many mosquitoes. No fan or a/c and the shower was barely warm and had no pressure at all.

Our room was in the basement (-4. floor, no elevator), the bed-linen was used (hairy and dirty), bathroom was full with mould, the whole room was terrible smelly (we could not open the balcony door for some fresh air). The carpet was also very-very dirty, just disgutsting. Dinner was OK, but breakfest was only available until 8:30, when we just...

Had an overnight stay here before climbing Sri Pada. The staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful, and although dinner was buffet it was delicious and plenty available to fill up before the climb. Breakfast was also good - although I'd avoid the coffee it was undrinkable (possibly however just something wrong with the water that day). We had...

We spent two nights at Slightly Chilled using it as our base for the Sri Pada climb. The quality of the rooms and the food were both very good. The view from the main sitting/dining area is also quite picturesque. We were particularly impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff were, who did everything they could to make our...

After talking with other visitors in the area during our stay, of the hostels in the Adam's peak area, this seems to be near the top. The rooms have multiple beds per room and gorgeous views. The water situation is a little questionable as it's pretty difficult to get consistent hot water. At night, perhaps when the water tank was...

We went there with our kids & couple of their friends for one night in order for us to climb Adams peak. We were so afraid to stay at a rest house but in this place the rooms & bathrooms were very clean and service was good. Food was more Sri Lankan style but tasty. I would definitely recommend it...

We booked this hotel to facilitate our climb of Adam's Peak. Overall, it was pretty good. Good location to base yourself to climb AP. We booked a room with a private corner balcony on the second highest level. The balcony was great. Because it was on a corner, we could sit in the shade any time of day. It also...

It was suitable for 1 night close to Adam's Peak. We booked it knowing that it wouldn't be of a high standard, but were still left disappointed. The service at all times was of an amazing standard. The gentleman who checked us in and out was amazing and very helpful, answering all of our questions. The room smelled rather bad,...
