This is a good place to stay if you are going to climb Adam's Peak. Our room had a balcony with a brilliant view of the mountain. The room was large with a small ensuite bathroom. The shower had plenty of hot water but weak pressure. Everything was very clean. A buffet dinner was served from 6.30pm which was ideal...

Epic dinner. Good brekky. Clean room. Nice staff. AMAZING VIEW. 5min from the 'adams peak' start. We stayed directly beneath the dining room though. So we heard every step, fork and glass through the night. Not ideal. But would recommend, though felt it was a bit exxy. Though that might just be the area...

It's hard to fault Slightly Chilled as their rooms were spotless and dinner and breakfast were both included in the booking fee which was very reasonable in the first place! They also arranged a taxi for us to the train station at Hatton. The only slight grumble was that our room was down four flights of stairs which after hiking...

If you're doing Adam's Peak the chances are you want a simple and clean place to eat and sleep before and/or after the hike which is exactly what Slightly Chilled offers. The staff are really pleasant and helpful with tips on doing the climb and the property is within walking distance from the base of the climb too. The buffet...

The buffet dinner here was amazing - 4 different delicious veg dishes/curries including a great dhal, rice, noodles, fried savoury doughnut things...and amazing desserts including fruit, yoghurt, sesame seed treats and peanut brittle. We loved it!

Slightly Chilled is an ok hotel to stay at if you need somewhere simple when climbing Adam's Peak. Rooms were simple however pillows were terrible which didn't allow us to get a good sleep. The shower did not have any hot water however that was something they were working on. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were very...

The guesthouse is really basic. The only reason to spend a night here is as a base for climbing Adam's peak. The dining room is airy and has good views, and the food is reasonable, but the bedrooms are basic and smell damp. I do reccomand to check weather conditions and period for the climb. In July when it is...

The only reason to stay here is to use it as a base to climb Adams Peak. There is nothing else much around the immediate area here so almost everyone you see will just be staying the one night. We pre-booked online and took their offer of a transfer from the Station at Hatton to the hotel. It worked well...

We stayed here for one night to climb Adam s Peak. The location is perfect, rooms clean and good food. internet was not available in the room, and tv was not connected however overall a good hotel with comfy beds that are a necessity.

My main reason for giving this hotel 4 out of 5 is that it is very well located for climbing Adams Peak. All of the other hotels in the area have awful reviews (hence why I don't think Adams Peak appears on any travel companies itinerary and it's only independent travellers that do this). The dinner and breakfast buffets were...
