Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The staff is warm and welcoming. Menu was outstanding and bar was well stocked. Its a B&B so the rooms vary quite a bit. My room was spacious, bed and shower were perfect. Garden was beautiful. Also, short walk from city center. Had fun with colleagues playing Kegel in the basement. Great experience.

I spend two nights at Zum alten Brunnen on a business trip. Check in was at the bar with locals having a relaxed night out. To my surprise, hotel is located in village in Germany, the host spoke fluent English. The hosts all the way showed a hospitality that you seldom experience at hotels. The food at restaurant was really...

Broke journey here on the way to Magdeburg from Holland. Check-in is from 5pm, however it was suggested to us by the owner that he lives very close by so you can ring if you arrive earlier. There is a notice to that effect on the door. We spent our time exploring the town itself. We found the old town...

If you stay longer at a place true values and service either come across real and authentic or deminish gradually. Family Fleischer proves the earlier. The longer you stay the better they get!! Fantastic cooking, absolutely great breakdast. Friendly and informal staff We'll stay connected!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the family atmosphere, as others have commented its almost like being at home, language is not a problem (they even have an English menu for those of us that definitely need one) Quiet location, nice rooms, fresh feel despite being so old

I had an excellent dinner with filet steak and dessert but the prices are quite high. The steak was super soft and from a high quality but the dessert was tasty but I would have expected more for a price of 7,50€ (ice cream with Eierlikör). The ter of the group was very satisfied with their menu as well.

It is the most friendly atmosphere we've ever been in. We felt like it was not the hotel, it was our home. The cuisine was amazing! We had our personal problems, and the hotel owner helped us to solve them. Thanks for such pleasant holidays!

You cant fault the attentive service. The staff speak great english and even answer in English when you speak German to them. The dinner are looks nice but didnt eat there The rooms are ok with a little dodgy electrics here and there The breakfast a joke. A buffet laid out on one shelf. eggs were to order but the...

I travelled to Rheine recently and stayed at this bar/restaurant which provides room also. Wel positioned within Rheine and close to the town centre, this small B&B is very charming and very typical of a small German guesthouse. Upon arrival we were greeted by Leonie whose English is excellent. That helped a lot to go through check-in quickly and efficiently....
