Out of the world experience at reasonable prices. Food at resort is great. Service is outstanding. Clean pool, room and beaches. Very quite island with clear blue water. This is one of my favourite places in Maldives. Recommended

I have mixed feeling about the hotel. Its a low budget resort with very minimal amenities. Very limited choices in breakfast....not much options are available for entertainment. Though some water sports are there...on the other side staff was very help full....they changed our room immediately when we complained about the AC. The manager listened to our problems during the day trip to Male and immediately offered us 1 more trip to rectify the mistakes for free....Even on special request they organized a Submarine Dive for us. The resort organizes full day and half day trips. Beach was very clean...I'll recommend it to all those looking for budgeted hotels.

I went to Giravaru on our honeymoon, and believe me...it was a nightmare!!! the place is just pathetic! although the place is cheap but still its not workth the amount! we hardly had any activities there! the washroom and the room was at the worst state! we regretted so much for staying there! we literally ruinned our honeymoon! Giravaru made me hate Maldives (which was my dream place) we stayed for 3 nights and thought of shifting our resort but didn't find any on the spot as it was chinese new year...hence we had to bare wid it for whole 3 days! and i literally got relieved when i was leaving dat place! plzz ppl don't ruin ur trip by choosing Giravaru! there is no such thing as In-House Movies, no Piped-in Music nothing atall watever is metioned on their site! i beleieve the island only has forest all over..when u step out of the room, u can only see forest! plzz don't ruin ur trip like we did!…

Pros: The resort is good, the sand is white and water is blue. Staff is polite and helpful. Room was good and clean. Coffee house is at amazing spot and one must have coffee there in the evening. Sea around is full of beautiful fish. Food is amazing and has a good variety. Cons: Pool is very small but who cares we have sea all around us. Chair for sun bathing are not very comfortable.

This was our last minute honeymoon booking for a very short period - the main reason was to get away from the routine and relax for a couple of days. This was also our first resort holiday and it was a reasonably good experience. The rooms were not as clean as one would expect and the WC stopped working on the morning of the check-out but overall it was not bad. The coffee shop and the restaurant had a good ambience. The views are amazingly good, the beach is shallow and waves mild - good fun! The water is very clear and if you are patient you can see lovely fish swimming by. You can also catch a few baby sharks lurking near the main entrance. The tennis court and table tennis table are not worth writing about, but who cares, this is supposed to be a island getaway and not a sports holiday - avid sports fans will be disappointed. Excellent diving and snorkelling facilities though we didnt find enough time to make use of this. There is one spa as well. Would I visit again??? May be...if I need a budget getaway again...…
