We stayed in this hotel because it is on a nice location and we went to the musical in the theater next to the hotel. For us it was an ideal place! The rooms are big and very silent, you don't hear any noise from cars or tramway. The breakfast was really good, enough choice.

The house has good location, close to the seashore. Bicycle renting was included in price, that made me surprised. Den Haag is close by bicycle, along very picturesque bicycle roads. Scheveningen is a cozy place with amazing embankment, port and parks. The owner of the hotel Catherine is very helpful lady. Breakfast is varied and delicious!

A really interesting and quaint building with a B&B vibe. Lovely owner/manager who was very helpful and cooked up a great breakfast. A short stroll from the sea. Room was a little tired looking but overall great value in an interesting area.

We stayed over a long weekend at this wonderful place. The house apparently used to be the house of the priest from the church right at the building and it still evaporates this this history. The owners a dutch man and his american wife restored the house with a lot of passion, keeping the old atmosphere and with high quality... More

Very nice rooms, clean and good service! The hotel is 4 min. walk from the beach and the main promenade, pier, restaurants etc. The quality of the rooms is very good with comfortable beds (not too hard), complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, full cooking options, iron and ironing board and plenty of space.

You can't get much better for location near to beach and tram lines to take you to the Hague centre. The hosts are extremely friendly and the breakfast area is lovely, typical of a beautiful Dutch front room. Disappointing in that having booked a de luxe room then expectations were high and the bathroom was very narrow and not de... More

Stayed at the Ambassade for a few nights March 2014 and I would definitely return. It's a former church and parsonage and still has some original stained glass. Historically preserved and run by a VERY nice couple - the wife, originally from the US (which helped a lot when talking about places to visit). Very nice breakfast was included with... More

I first stayed here in May 2013 and then again September 2013 and in October 2013. Since I need to stay for more than a week, this is the ideal place for people like me. I traveled with my 3-yr old & my mother; our room was perfect for our needs. We had a studio type apartment (2nd floor, apt C) with an extremely comfortable queen sized bed & a sofa bed (we didn't pull it out, just removed the cushions). There are privacy curtains to separate the sleeping areas, and lots of windows to... More
