My partner Karen and I stayed at Maison Bizienne for one week at the beginning of September. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a sizeable ensuite and a view over the lovely garden. The only downside was no air con in this particular room, but Bertrand (our very charming and considerate host) managed to find a fan for...

Rooms clean tastefully decorated. comfortable bedding, separate shower and wc all ensuite. Evening tapas with choice selection of local wines in a quiet secluded garden. Bertrand's home made rillets an aperçu of the culinary delights we were met with at breakfast the following days: homemade and local produce mouthwatering and fresh. Simply the best.

I have never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast due to the fact of privacy and being in someone's home. This was my first and I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were LARGE and it felt like we had our own apartment. Rooms were super clean and extremely well decorated. The owner even left a bag of salt as a gift....

We stayed here in April and had a wonderful time. The owners were lovely and very welcoming, despite the language barrier. We stayed in the Family Suite in the main house - the room was beautiful, so much attention to detail in the decor but still so cozy. Very shabby chic in the best possible way. We had ample room...

We were received by Bertram and he and his family were very friendly and helpful. After a long day sightseeing we would return to...

If you're into all things organic, locally produced and home made then this is the place for you. The breakfasts are unbeatable - superb home-made jams, breads, pancakes and yoghurts accompanied by fruit, local honey and great coffee. Our room was attractive with a comfy bed and soft pillows. Would have preferred it if the shower was mounted at normal...

We were staying in the outbuidling next to the main house. The roof is a bit low and the stairs are steep but the room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet even though it was next to the road. The couple running the B & B are very attentive and do a great spread for breakfast. You are within walking...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rural house located at 100m from the ancient, nice and quiet village of Guerande. Decorated in 'brocante' style but clean, with a good bed and bathroom. Who says french breakfast is poor? Maison Bizienne serves an excellent breakfast with daily variations and almost completely composed of local products (bread, yellies, yoghurt, butter, fruit, cheese etc),...
