The Isle of Mull is more remote than we imagined & this place is even more remote. Be prepared for no cell service & very slow/no Internet. If you are looking for quiet & remote, this may be for you, although expect a minimum hour drive to other parts of the island on very narrow "B" and "weak" single track...

Note first of all that Tiroran is remote even by Mull standards, about 40 mins drive from the ferry. It's a country house hotel, with, I guess about 10 rooms. I imagine the rooms are all individual, but ours was very comfortable, and had a good size en suite with walk in shower. To be honest, the bed was a...

Thank you for your lovely review - there have been a couple of reviews recently that have stated about pre orders for dinner, I just want to let everyone know that we no longer need our guests to pre order dinner as we have flexible dining times between 6 and 8pm and people usually order with their pre dinner drinks...

The hotel was in beautiful grounds with wonderful views. Our hosts were welcoming and and the accommodation cosy and in the Scottish style. Food delicious and great for people who like the outdoors. We visited the islands of Iona and Staffa. Plenty of wildlife including golden eagles, otters and Dolphins. Photographers dream. Greatly recommended.

Did not stay in the Hotel but visited the Restaurant on two occasions during our four night stay on Mull The food was excellent and at a reasonable price. The staff were cheerful and efficient. I would gladly return and eat here again.

This hotel is in a remote part of Mull. We stumbled across it by chance and were so pleased we did. We ordered coffee, which was served with lovely cakes. We then asked for sandwiches, which were superb, served with salad and crisps.

We were met on arrival warmly by Laurence who throughout was a charming host. Bedrooms were nice and beds very comfortable. The sitting room, with the log fire was very homely. Our evening meal was enjoyable but a tad pricey and to then pay extra for vegetables was a bit much. Staff all very attentive and helpful. This is a...

This is a small property that has been extended. Its in large secluded grounds and is a great base from which to explore Mull. Good standard of evening meal which you have to choose in advance. Slow service (i.e....hard to find staff as they only come out to deliver food). I had a gripe which was that our belongings were...

I visited with m girlfriend and her parents. We were warmly welcomed by Laurence and Katie, who were more than happy to provide information about the island and things to do. All the staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. I can't recommend highly...

We wanted to have a 3 night 4 day holiday on the Isle of Mull and had never been there before. This was a real find - it just could not have been nicer. From the minute we arrived the entire team was attentive and welcoming - when we were given a tour and settled into our lovely rooms (in...

My parents, boyfriend and I stayed here as part of a trip and it was just so lovely! I can't say enough nice things about it! The staff and owners are super nice and attentive and made us feel at home really quickly. Lawrence and Katie are really charming, fun to talk to and have excellent suggestions for things to...
