We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is fine if a bit basic. We had the set dinner one evening which was again ok. Breakfast was very basic with limited choices. The room was quiet small, clean and again just fine. We didn’t use the spa or the slide. The staff were very nice and but with limited conversation as our Spanish is not good.

This hotel is conveniently located near Picos de Europa. We used it as a base for hiking. We felt pampered all the way by very friendly staff. The front facing rooms feature incredible views of the mountains. The hotel seems to be very family friendly as there is a slide and a pool on the back, as well as plenty of sheep and goats for kids to pet. The food in the restaurant is superb and they have tortilla de patatas for breakfast, which is AMAZING! The spa could be bigger, some of the facilities didn't work properly andwwe were chased out after exactly 60min, which feels a bit too strict. This is a minor point however, as we were here to hike. The hotel is super clean, very well decorated and it features both modern and traditional Asturias decor. It is very good value for money. Make sure to check the offers and book directly with the hotel to get a good deal. The photo is the view from our room. Also, the hotel is mostly run by women and they do a FANTASTIC job. Women power as it best!

The room was ok for a comfortable sleep, but the breakfast consisted only of packed bread, packed pastries, butter, jam, instant orange juice and coffee. When I asked the lady if there was no fresh bread, she replied it was too early for the baker to come. Seriously?! Some of our friends stayed in other hotels in the village and the breakfast experience was much better. So, I won't return or recommend this place.

Hello Monica F, we are glad that you had a comfortable dream in our facilities, just to tell you that because of what you pay for a specific service you have your product relationship, you came with a very tight group price, adapted to the product that was given, at breakfast had: coffee, toast with jam and butter, assorted pastries, orange juice, greetings.

Incredible views, lovely property, delicious breakfast. Room are 'okay', but fairly priced. Good location, near Cangas de Onis and Arriondas, excellent convenience for Picos de Europa. I would stay here again without hesitation when I return to Asturias.

We have been here for 3 nights in the end of September. The hotel is easy to find and has a large parking space in front of the main building. All the staff we met were really nice and friendly and helped us with all the info we needed (Spanish spoken). The hotel is very clean and well preserved and decorated in stile. We got a standard room which looked quite small but it is well organized so it's big enough for a couple who just sleeps inside...the bed was extremely comfortable, the wardrobe closet is huge and you get a small sofa beside the table and TV. All nice and very functional. Rooms are equipped with the air-con and a big double window facing great views on a village and mountains. We used SPA and it's quite small and basic (small pool with different massages, small Turkish bath, two different showers and a relax area with heated seats) but useful after a day of hiking or paddling in the river. The SPA entrance has to be pre-reserved and is for maximum 1 hour and it's limited I think up to 6 persons per session which is great due to its size. We also tried their relaxing massage and pedicure and both were OK. We ate breakfast and did have one dinner and the food is OK but nothing special...the prices in their restaurant are quite good, not expensive but we decided to rather ate dinner outside...more options and diversity :-) Breakfasts are good and big but lacks diversity...I can't imagine eating the same salami and toast bread for a whole week, also could add some different kind of juice not just orange, lacks maybe some fried eggs and sausages...but must say that the food served was a good quality and a lot of it!! We didn't use outside covered pool so I can't make an opinion of it but it looks nice and a slide adds the fun part of it :-) Surrounding of the hotel is really nice and it's so quiet there :-) You really can relax and enjoy! Our experience with the hotel and services was great and it's highly recommendable if you need a relaxing hotel with spa facilities in a great place in the area of Picos de Europa.

We enjoyed our stay and give 4 stars because we thought it represented good value. The hotel is clean with simple (small) rooms with air conditioning which we needed in July. There are two very nice balconies from where you can enjoy the beautiful view and nice areas outside for sitting. The pool was small and the slide was not as big as the photos suggest but still good fun. Service very good and accomodating, little English but they spoke slowly and gently so we could follow. The downside for us was the food. Neither breakfast nor dinner were much good. The local ham is nice so you can't go far wrong with the melon and ham but its mostly fuel rather than anything else. There was decent inexpensive wine (by UK standards) on the menu. We also struggled to eat well in the area but we were only there for 3 days. There is so much to do in this area. We booked canyoning, canoeing and walking through paddleinspain.com who use Jaire in Arriondas. All good and we all (even the teenagers) loved the Cares gorge walk, the hotel and activity centre seemed well organised and worked together. We were so busy we didn't have time for the spa! We would return.

We had a 2 night stay in this small, but perfect hotel. It is about 10 minutes drive from Cangas de Onis and about 20 minutes to Covadonga, from where you can continue up the very steep road to the lakes. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the communal areas were comfortable and attractive. We particularly liked the balconies which allow you to enjoy the fresh air even if it is raining. We arranged to do the 90 minute spa circuit and the staff were vey helpful. You will need a swimming cap which you can buy for 3 euros if you don't have one. As mentioned on other reviews, the spa is small, but has everything. The water jets are very powerful and if you enjoy being "pummeled" you will love the experience. I was very relaxed after trying every jet and I don't find relaxing a natural thing to do, so 10 out of 10 to the spa! Others have mentioned about the menu being very basic or lacking in choice. We ate one night at the hotel and it was superb. My husband had one of the biggest steaks he has ever been served in Spain and I had delicious trout. The menu may be small, but I don't mind if the food is of this high quality. One other thing to mention is the price. We have found many hotels to over-charge simply because they can. We thought the prices were in line with other restaurants in the area and even the chocolate bars in the mini-bar were the same price in the local petrol station- very fair. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly and we were very happy with every aspect of our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Nice location is old village - convenient for Picos de Europe. Breakfast food and evening meal could have been better, otherwise very good. Slide and swimming pool.

We stayed here for one night and is such a pleasant hotel! Small, very personal and each room has a different name and decoration. The landscape was superb! The hotel has a small farm with a "horreo" (typical Asturian construction, where the sidra is made) and a external swinning-pool and the village is very quiet and peaceful. The living room has a big fireplace and nice sofas to enjoy in your stay. The staff was only a nice girl who gave us a map and indications for things to do. Very good breakfast, great food and wide variety. I recommend it if you want peace, quiet and nature
